The everlasting generosity of GOD, the universe, or Mother Nature

Generally, all forms of life prove that everything has been bountifully supplied; we only have to exert ourselves to take out of the goodies that have been so generously provided. (Featured image credit: Pixabay.com.)

At least once in a lifetime, many people must have either run a race, indulged in an activity, or worked at full capacity for a long period of time, and to such a great extent that they started feeling tired.

Many of us can remember vividly, how long before we got to any great distance, we already thought we had reached our limits because we felt obviously tired.

But, not so for GOD, the universe, or Mother Nature. Just visualize how they have kept on going untiringly, creating worlds, the heavens, billions of galaxies and stars, their inhabitants, expanding the universe, and will continue to do so forever.

The same generous energy that has produced various forms, colors, types of beauties and mysteries in creation, still exists within our very self. Our mind and muscles are flexible enough to accommodate much more of the energy, speed and endurance available in the currents of creation—to which we are conductors.

Stored deep within each person is a great reserve of energy which many of us seem not to have any or much awareness about.

The generosity of GOD seems to be a law in the universe! Why? Because it can be seen everywhere

GOD, the universe, Mother Nature—whatever you wish to call—is lavish, generous and probably extravagant in continuously creating and supplying both raw materials and finished products.

Look upwards towards the heavens at night; see the uncountable number of galaxies, stars, and worlds out there.

No technological equipment, or degree of mind perception can give us a clue about the actual number of objects, lives and items freely dished out. There is no way we can even make a good approximation of the total number.

Take a look at the vegetation in the country where you live; picture how the shrubs of the trees are supplied together with nutrients and the strength they need for growth and sustenance!

Furthermore, look at other forms of animal life such as worms, insects, butterflies, birds, wild animals, reptile, etc., and imagine the generosity behind the materials and intelligence that energizes and enlivens them.

Generally, all forms of life prove that everything has been bountifully supplied; living things only have to exert themselves to take out of the goodies that have been so generously provided.

Although we often hear about depletion of non-renewable resources such as coal and fossil fuel (oil), science still informs us that Mother Nature has an indefinite quantity of renewable resources in store, which are better alternatives, more environmentally friendly, and supplied within a shorter period of time than non-renewable resources. Better still, they usually last for an indefinite period of time.

The generosity doesn’t stop there; in fact, there are vast fields of natural resources that haven’t been explored or touched yet; and probably bigger fields that are yet to be discovered.

Conclusion

There is abundance for everyone. However, we have to think, strain ourselves a bit, or even labor if we want to acquire some of the generous things that are continuously being supplied by nature.

How faith comes, grows, and increasingly becomes stronger!

Although many people lose the powerful feeling or strong impact of positive words and thoughts long after they have been read or thought about, it doesn’t mean that continuous hearing or reading of positive words doesn’t have a long-lasting impact—it certainly does!

The history of events surrounding Jesus Christ and his disciples shows that “faith comes by hearing…hearing by the word of GOD”—Romans 10:17 (The Christian Bible).

Faith doesn’t always come as a complete or instant package, especially if one is new to faith. Faith comes, accumulates or increases by hearing. This is true, if not, Jesus’ disciples would have been able to cast out the demons that possessed a boy about 2,000 years ago. 

But they were unable to—much to Jesus’ dismay—even though they had lived with Jesus, heard many positive messages he uttered about GOD’s greatness, and seen many great signs and wonders that he did over and over, again and again.

The truth of the matter is that the faith of Jesus’ disciples had not yet come, grown, or become strong enough to do what their master did on a regular basis.

Funny enough, a centurion who never interacted much with Jesus prior to the time they met, shocked Jesus with his faith even though he never had the opportunity to hear Jesus’ positive words, or seen the great wonders Jesus effected in real life—read Matthew 8:5–13 (the Christian Bible).

The faith that achieves great success is not a respecter of persons

Without a sufficient amount of faith in yourself, it would be difficult to achieve great feats in life; it would be even more difficult to please GOD, the owner and master of the universe!

“But without faith, it is impossible to please GOD…”—Hebrews 11:6 (The Christian Bible)

If GOD demands that we have faith, regardless of how difficult or impossible it is for us to generate faith, then the responsibility rests on us to do the needful in order to get faith!

And the needful thing is to continue to believe and be positive in the midst of challenges: we have to continue hearing, meditating, and believing in positivity or positive thoughts.

Contrary to the belief system in some religions, the word of GOD does not refer only to the scriptures—or specifically The Christian Bible. If good, inspiring and uplifting words or thoughts have their basis and foundation in GOD, they can also be referred to, or regarded as the word of GOD!

In reality, the word or GOD consists much more of thoughts than literal words; and the thoughts consists of the power of GOD which is only positive and uplifting! The written word of GOD is the power of GOD in written form—in human writing; this depends on the type of language used.

Faith comes by hearing—also, faith will continue to grow stronger by continuously hearing or reading positive things

Generally, GOD’s words have informed us that without faith it is impossible to do great works, and please Him.

But, good enough, he has told us how to get faith—by hearing and continuously believing. So if we don’t have or develop faith, especially in the midst of challenges, then GOD is not to be blamed.

It would be wrong to blame GOD for our lack of faith; this is also true about salvation which is outside the scope of this article. You cannot acquire certain levels of faith without continuously hearing meditating on the word of GOD or positivity—positive words or thoughts.

How does faith for healing come? It comes by continuously hearing and meditating on the word of GOD or positivity (positive words) concerning healing.

How does faith for miracles come? It comes by continuously hearing and meditating on the word of GOD or positivity (positive words) concerning miracles.

How does faith for the prophecy come? It comes by continuously hearing and meditating on the word of GOD or positivity (positive words) concerning prophecy.

How does faith for wealth come? It comes by continuously hearing and meditating on the word of GOD or positivity (positive words) concerning wealth.

How does faith for general success come? It comes by continuously hearing and meditating on the word of GOD or positivity (positive words) concerning general success!

The spiritual implication of human cloning: What could GOD’s perspective be?

With ongoing presumption that scientists have cloned, might have cloned, or would clone human beings after successfully cloning animals, what could be opinion of mankind’s creator about cloning? What could GOD’s perspective be?

But first, what is cloning?

Cloning is a process in which genetically identical or similar-looking entities of the same organism are produced, either naturally, or artificially—as is the practice in laboratory experiments carried out by medical scientists.

Naturally, many organisms produce clones by asexual reproduction. Artificially, medical scientists have been producing clones, or exact copies of cells, or parts of DNAs.

It is believed that if medical scientists can grow organs of the human body, then they can use the same knowledge to regrow a complete human body and produce an exact genetic copy—a human clone.

However, despite this belief, there is a widely held opinion that human cloning hasn’t yet been achieved, despite many claims to the contrary.

The dawn of artificial cloning

The term “cloning” made lots of air waves and headlines in 1997 when Ian Wilmut (Roslin Institute of the University of Edinburgh) successfully cloned “Dolly the sheep”.

Wilmut was able to achieve this great feat by producing an exact genetic copy of an original sheep after taking a cell from it, extracting the DNA from its nucleus, and inserting the nucleus into an egg cell.

Not long after Wilmut’s achievement, many groups around the world followed his lead and cloned a wide variety of animals, including horses, cats, cattle, mice, goats, pigs, dogs, etc.

It’s on record that the first, second, and third generations of the clones exist.

What about human cloning?

Since artificial cloning started, there have been a number of reports and claims that human cloning has been successfully achieved.

On the other hand, other reports claim that any claims about success in human cloning are probably bogus claims which haven’t been proven yet.

If the statement in the previous paragraph is true—although we shouldn’t rely on it—then we can assume that no scientist has successfully cloned any primate, talk-less of a human being.

If human cloning has been successful, even though it hasn’t been authenticated, then what could be the spiritual implication for using such an unnatural process that doesn’t seem to emanate directly from GOD?

What would be the reaction of the world’s great religions? What would GOD feel about it—what, what, what?

What do religious/spiritual texts state?

If we observe the stories of creation in different religious texts, it is quite clear that GOD made just one path for human beings to procreate or produce offspring in the world: by sexual reproduction. This seems to be the only provision GOD made for souls/spirits and the animated parts of bodies (both human beings and animals) to incarnate here on Earth.

But we know that mankind always has a tendency to seek its own plan, which in many cases, is far apart from that of GOD and tends to be more self-destructive: in this regard, medical science might have already found another way to reproduce human beings through human cloning.

The skepticism surrounding human cloning

If judged by spiritual beliefs, skepticism will likely arise around cloning because it doesn’t give an answer whether souls or spirits animate the cloned bodies of organisms.

The soul or spirit, as we know it, is the invisible and immaterial essence that animates the physical bodies of human beings, and probably other organisms. The soul doesn’t seem to be created here on Earth.

And without a soul, no body wouldn’t be able to do anything.

Just like natural living bodies are full of life, successful clones are also full of life, and are as lively and animated as the complete body of the organisms they were cloned from.

But do the animated (spirit/soul) parts of clones come from human beings, or from GOD? Are they real or not? And who created such souls, if they really exist in the first place?

For sure, it’s already here, or it’s already on the way

One of the long-held dreams of certain medical scientists of the twenty-first century, is to create human beings from possible man-made processes.

Like we hinted earlier, it is either that human cloning has already been achieved, or it is yet to be achieved.

It’s possible that scientists have already achieved human cloning successfully, but are hiding evidence about it—for whatever reason(s) best known to them.

Regardless, doesn’t the spiritual implication look scary when it’s obvious mankind has been, or could be able to create new life forms—not through incantations, magic, or prayers, but through knowledge and advancements made in the field of medical science?

Should scientists mind what they seek for?

Although medical science has advanced tremendously, and it looks obvious that mankind has/would have an artificial process for reproducing life in an unnatural way—a way not provided by GOD—shouldn’t scientists mind what they wish for?

When we read the stories of GOD’s anger and wrath after fallen angels (who were not human) bore offsprings after mating with mankind, wouldn’t anyone tend to think that science could be erring greatly by discovering and using a process GOD did not design for mankind.

What could be the public’s view about human cloning?

If human cloning becomes possible to an appreciable degree, it might meet social obstacles. How well will it be accepted? Do people think that cloning people is a moral act? Is it ethical to clone fellow human beings?

My personal opinion is that many religions will oppose human cloning, in the same fashion that the Catholic Church opposed test tube babies back in 1978 when Louise Brown became the first baby in history to be conceived in a test tube.

If the public speaks up and rises against human cloning, then most governments would definitely pass laws to ban human cloning technology; or, at best (for scientists or proponents of human cloning), most governments could regulate human cloning with tight fists.

On the other hand, if human cloning is widely accepted, then at most, it’s likely that only few people would be clones, in just the same way that few natural clones exist in the form of identical twins and triplets—so the hype about human cloning might gradually wear off.

What is GOD’s opinion about the animated part (soul or soul-less?) of a clone?

With the knowledge we have about cloning, we know that many questions could spring up whenever the subject of GOD and human cloning are mentioned in any discussion. Questions like these could arise:

  • If human bodies are duplicated, will the spirits that animate the human bodies also be duplicated or cloned?
  • Will cloned human beings have a spiritual life? Will they be recognized by GOD?
  • If a human being is cloned, will it have any memory? (It has been widely reported that clones have no memory.)
  • Will cloned spirits have a record in GOD’s record book of human life on Earth?
  • Are the medical scientists who practice cloning distorting the true human image of GOD?

Negative impact of materialism on spirituality: how to increase spiritual stature & store treasures in heaven

There are many people—probably a large number—who wouldn’t like the sight of this article’s title because of their presumption that spirituality goes hand in hand with “lack of material possessions”. Well, such a presumption is off the cards, and is wrong—as much as I know.

After birth, and immediately human beings become conscious, they also start figuring out ways to survive; they show these urges by acquiring needs, physical properties, or what we may call “material or earthly possessions”.

But as world history and experiences have shown, when acquisition of material possessions is unguided and unchecked, it leads to negative consequences on the material world, and loss of spirituality in the invisible world—loss of treasures in the next world, or heaven.

Materialism (which we will discuss very soon) can actually prevent us from laying up/storing our treasures in heaven—especially if we don’t put our spiritual and material priorities right.

If people think it’s great to store large sums of money and countless treasures in banks, then think about how much more awesome it is/would be to store spiritual coins and cashless immaterial eternal riches in the paradise of invisible heaven—just think about it for a few moments.

Think about how great it would be to join the bandwagon of probably a few people who have stored/been storing their treasures in heaven.

Give the World Quality Service, and You Will Receive Quality Greatness

But first, what is materialism?

Materialism can be defined in different ways:

  • it is the belief that material possessions and physical comfort are more important priorities than spirituality or spiritual values like love, empathy, etc. Usually, materialistic people acquire wealth and material possessions, with little or no interest in ethical, moral or spiritual matters.
  • it is the belief that physical things are the only reality. Such a belief tends to lay more emphasis on acquiring material things, rather than intellectual or spiritual ones.
  • it is the predominant desire and practice of pursuing wealth and other tangible things, up to the point of ignoring the eternal importance of spiritual values.

Is it wrong to acquire physical or material possessions?

There is nothing wrong in acquiring physical or material possessions; however, acquiring physical or material possessions at the expense of spirituality and the next life—especially when everybody knows that life on Earth doesn’t last forever—is tantamount to practicing materialism and losing eternal treasures.

It could be a bad decision (but not wrong though) to despise earthly possessions and riches that were created by the will and power of GOD—the GOD that believers always seek to serve and honour.

Probably, the thing to do is this: make good use of earthly possessions, especially for the benefit of those around you, but don’t allow earthly possessions degrade your spiritual stature and put your spirit to sleep.

And always remember this: nobody has ever succeeded in taking a single unit of money, material possession or property into the next life; yet everybody takes away their degree of spirituality into the next life.

The more you practice doing good to others, the more you will increase in spiritual stature: the more spiritual you will become.

Also, increasing spiritual stature creates  a pathway for natural acquisition of higher spiritual gifts, wisdom and understanding.

What is spirituality?

Spirituality is synonymous with immateriality, or the belief that spiritual things are more valuable than material things, or the acquisition of material possessions; it can also be defined as the practice of doing things that nurture the spirit and make it grow.

Because human nature tends to have selfish values, most people’s spirituality tends to decrease. It’s pertinent to note that whenever there is an increase in materialism, and its excesses are unchecked, spirituality will tend to reduce—if it actually doesn’t.

As strong as the spirit is, its growth can be hampered or negatively influenced if materialism is allowed to take the lead, and have its way.

And one of the things that can easily tarnish the growth and beauty of the spirit when there is emphasis on, and practice of false values—which mankind tends to do a lot.

Nowadays, people tend to think that money and material possessions are all that matter. For most people, as long as they have enough to eat, clothe and shelter themselves, etc., spiritual or immaterial things don’t really matter—meanwhile, spiritual and immaterial things are the things that matter the most.

How can spirituality be increased, raised or developed? How can we store treasures in heaven?

Before we give some examples on how spirituality can be increased or developed, it would be great to point out the fact that there are other things that have more lasting value than money: the following are examples of things that are more valuable than money: (By placing more emphasis on these things, people will be able to increase or raise their degree of spirituality.)

  • the spirit/soul—your eternal destiny.
  • love for others—humanity: the weak, poor, marginalized.
  • giving back rights to those who have been deprived of rights.
  • giving food, water and material possessions, especially to those who are in need.
  • helping, and expressing heartfelt empathy for others.
  • morality: choosing to do good, and refusing to do evil; choosing right instead of wrong; showing good conduct, and detesting bad conduct.
  • meditation: mind/spiritual concentration on good things, and for useful purposes.
  • etc.—anything that is good, and uplifts humanity and the whole environment.

The more you think about good thoughts, and practice doing good things, the more you will be storing treasures for yourself in heaven

If you can compare the fading riches in this life with the eternal riches and glories of the next life, and be aware that each time you think good thoughts and do good deeds to others, you are storing treasures in heaven, then you would prefer to do more good, grow in spiritual stature, and lay up treasures for yourself in heaven—the next life.

And the good thing is that we can never help others too much; in fact, by helping others too much, we will actually be helping ourselves, eternally.

We can never have too much spirituality. We can never have too much good thinking or purity of thought—never. There is no limit at which goodness is meant to stop.

In which ways can materialism negatively influence and reduce spirituality?

The negative influence of materialism is a broad subject. However, we will still give a few examples to illustrate how materialism can reduce spirituality—especially if it’s not controlled:

  • choosing personal satisfaction, and being greedy for money at the expense of other people’s lives.
  • doing everything possible to acquire physical properties that belong to other people, even if killing is required.
  • causing economic problems for society, local government, state, or nation by diverting funds from public to private use.
  • choosing to do wrong instead of right, and consciously overlooking right choices, while deliberately picking wrong ones.
  • etc.—many other examples.

Materialism at its peak, is not only confined to the greedy and selfish acquisition of money; it is also confined to the pursuit of power and control.

And where there is power, corruption is bound to manifest. Materialism generates many other negative emotions or feelings such as jealousy, lust, selfishness, lack of concern, carelessness, etc.

The main thing that matters to materialists (people who have higher regard for earthly/material possessions than immaterial/spiritual values) is personal high quality life and comfort, amongst others.

Main points that should be remembered

  • we can store treasures in heaven by seeking the kingdom of GOD which is primarily aimed at helping, and showing concern for others. GOD created us to help and, if possible, give up ourselves for others.
  • it is unnecessary to preach that people should renounce material things and earthly possessions; however, if people pursue material things until materialism sets in—and is left uncontrolled—then it will actually reduce their spirituality and hinder people from laying up/storing treasures in heaven.
  • when people are advised not to set their hearts on earthly possessions, it doesn’t mean that they should give away all their wealth and live in poverty.
  • everybody should joyfully enjoy what GOD has offered all his creatures.
  • nobody has ever succeeded in taking a single unit of money, and material possessions into to next life, or heaven.
  • the more money and material possessions you acquire, the more money and material possessions you will leave behind for other people, or the world.
  • if you are not careful, the more you strive to acquire money and material possessions, the more likely you would contaminate your spiritual stature and make it difficult for yourself to acquire spiritual treasures, and lay them up in heaven.
  • we have to make it our priority to serve and help others, whether we are rich, or poor; after all, life on this Earth is just like a tiny grain of sand when compared with eternity, which is synonymous with the countless grains of sand on the seashore.
  • after this brief earthly life, there exists a greater eternal life where spirituality is the currency and immaterial possession in use, and where the present-day money and currencies of the world are valueless.
  • make good use of earthly riches and possessions. On the other hand, do not allow them put your spiritual senses to sleep—as is the case with many people.

The words of Jesus—who in my opinion is the most spiritual to have ever walked the face of this world:

Matthew 6:19―21: “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal; But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal; For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” .

We were created to last forever—sounds impossible, but is very true!

“GOD has put eternity into man’s heart…”—Ecclesiastes 3:11 (The Christian Bible).

“Surely, GOD would not have created such a being as man to exist only for a day! No, no, man was made for immortality”—Abraham Lincoln.

The life we live on Earth at the moment is not the only one there is, or will ever be! This life is like a rehearsal to the real life at the other side of the veil—the next life!

We are going to spend a hell lot of time on the other side of life than we will definitely ever spend here; in fact an uncountable times over. Life on Earth would be like primary or junior high school when compared to the university-like advanced life of eternity which lies beyond the borders of physical Earth life.

Life on Earth is like practice before the actual game and life of eternity; it is a warm-up in preparation for the next life. At most, we can live only 120 years on Earth, but in eternity we will live forever.

GOD created us with a gift that will make us last forever

We were born with an inner unlimited potential to last forever even though we are fully aware that everyone will die or experience physical death.

The reason why many of us feel we will live forever is because GOD has wired our spirit/soul that way. Although our physical hearts will stop beating one day, our spirit being is destined to live forever—especially in paradise if we do what is required of us by GOD.

While you can live anywhere on Earth, in eternity you either live in the vicinity of GOD, or away from it

While life on Earth has many places to stay, or where to live, eternity only makes it possible to stay in the vicinity of GOD, or away from it.

Our respective relationships with GOD and our fellow human beings will go a long way in determining how and where we will live our lives in eternity.

People who are convinced that this life is not the only life, usually live their life differently

Looking beyond this life will definitely add color to the way we handle tasks, relationships, and many circumstances of physical life that most people only evaluate on a short-term basis.

A lot of activities and goals that many people take as high-priority, are usually looked upon as “unworthy”, “petty”, and “trivial” by those whose hearts are preoccupied with the coming of eternity.

The closer we think about GOD and the greatness of the after-life, the more many popular worldly activities will appear smaller and less significant than the way they appear to many people.

If you live with an eternity-conscious mind, your values will be different

A man or woman who concentrates on eternal life uses their time and money more wisely, and their priorities are usually at odds with that of someone who is materially-minded and only interested in what this physical life has to offer.

Throughout history there have been many eternity-conscious people who placed higher priority on character and types of relationships, rather than material wealth and fame.

To make the most of life on Earth, keep the thought of eternity continuously at the front of your mind’s eye

There is much more about life in eternity than your current life on Earth reveals. Value eternity in your heart and remember that the life you see and perceive now is a visible tip of the iceberg; eternity is the greater part that you can’t see because it lies underneath.

Nobody can fathom the greatness of the eternal life that exists in the vicinity of GOD; words won’t be enough to express the actual blissful experience. The Christian Bible says in 1st Corinthians 2:9: “But as it is written, No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has conceived what GOD has in store for those that love Him”.

It is a sad fact that the only time many people think about eternity and the after-life is at funerals. Just as we spent nine months in our mothers’ wombs preparing to come into the world, so are we spending time in this world preparing for the next—eternal life!

1. Faith: the superpower that materializes desires & gives new life to dying ambitions

We live in a world that doesn’t give us too many ideas on how to face the challenges of tomorrow which come in a number and variety of forms, shapes and sizes. Many people live through the day and sleep at night thinking about how they can make their living conditions better.

Every day we are haunted with questions about how we are going to handle one worrying thought, or approach another worrying problem. Good enough, one of the greatest businesses of life lies in thinking and having faith in one’s self and the future.

If we have sufficient faith in ourselves, then we can control our thoughts to a great extent and be well on the way to controlling most of our circumstances. Faith is the superpower that helps people handle the positives and negatives that everyday’s gifts and challenges bring: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”—Hebrews 11:1 of the Holy Bible.

Just take a look around you and you will see men and women who, after years of hopelessly struggling, suddenly acquire untold wealth or materialize their most cherished dreams. Faith turned their dreams into reality, gave new life to their dying ambitions, and put them on the road to success.

Faith—deep belief—is a superpower that is usually inspired by someone or something; it always inspires certain people to turn defeats into successes and victories.

The shield of faith

Regardless of what people think regarding faith, one undeniable fact is that daily doses of positivity create a strong shield of faith against thoughts that tend to make us forget we have a hidden but strong dominant power sleeping deep within us.

GOD has entitled us to every good thing. Therefore, we should learn how to get used to expecting good things regardless of any situation at hand—we should expect nothing but good.

Victory doesn’t have to be followed by shaky thoughts of defeat: victory should follow victory. And how can we ensure that? By always feeding ourselves with positive thoughts, and having unshakeable faith in ourselves.

Remember that the shield of faith always has the ability to halt the effects of the negative thoughts that develop limitations against us. Limitations are as a result of accumulating negative thoughts for days, months, or even years.

We do not have to allow negative thinking bring any limitation on our lives. Remember that once acquired, the shield of faith will always dispel negativity and attract every good thing for us—it will move mountains for us.

There is every reason for you to understand that you are entitled to the everlasting generosity of GOD. Every substance and product people have used or created out of nature’s supply of abundance, depends on the purity of positive thought or positive thinking.

Developing the shield of faith

When it comes to developing the shield of faith, the problem most people have is that they are not mentally strong; in fact, many people are mentally lazy. It is much easier for most people to follow the crowd rather than break free from them and follow a path that can be really beneficial on a long-term basis.

The greatest geniuses, discoverers, and inventors in all fields of life have been men and women who dared to break away from the traditional and normal routes of the common masses; they believed that there is no limit to what their minds can do; they stuck to their beliefs until they achieved their goals—even in the face of ridicule and criticism.

In addition, they never felt that they achieved everything after achieving just one success, or a few successes. There first successes and relentless persistence only made further successes materialize much more easily.

Continuously successful people know some things many people didn’t and don’t know: they have realized that they are part of a universe filled with abundance, and that the Earth as a part of it, shares the same properties as the whole universe from which they can acquire any right and thing.

Successful people know that the only threatening limitation is the inability to think and work towards the things that are desired; because of their faith, each step they made, regardless of circumstances, propelled them forward and upward ever—and they just kept on going, on, and on, and on. For instance, Edison didn’t just think about electric light, sit back/down and fold his arms. He thought about it many times over, and took many steps before finally inventing it.

William James, a famous psychologist, once stated: “The more mind does, the more it can do”. So we must keep looking and moving forward in order to continuously do more! Faith strengthens the ideas that release energy and makes people do much more than they ever did before. Actually, we can know and achieve more than we have ever known or achieved in the past.

Conclusion

Get up, stretch your mind beyond the usual extent; understand the superpower called faith; practice and get your own share of the unlimited supply which is available in nature.

There are unlimited ways through which the abundance of nature—GOD’s generosity—can get to you once you have sufficient faith. Don’t think that there are only one or few channels through which nature can send gifts to you. There are uncountable and unlimited channels.

Your job is to believe and have faith to the extent that your good desires are impressed on your whole mind—especially the subconscious mind. As you do this, you will develop the right mental attitude that will always expect and attract good things.

And the right mental attitude doesn’t fail; it only fails if we allow worry, fear, negativity and laziness conquer our minds. “According to your faith, be it done unto you”—the words of Jesus Christ.

2. Faith: still strong enough to alter today’s facts

If people have been altering facts, then faith can still alter today’s facts. Achieving greatness shouldn’t be guided only by what can be seen or sighted; it should go beyond that, and be governed more by what can’t be seen—the unseen: faith.

Even GOD’s word hinted in 2nd Corinthians 5:7: “For we walk by faith, not by sight”. Faith is rooted in the spiritual, while facts are more rooted in the physical; faith is superior to fact, and stronger than it! Fact is temporal and changeable, while faith is eternal and unchangeable.

Even history has shown that fact can become untrue. Decades ago it was considered a fact that malaria had no cure; in fact many people died because of it. However, that is no longer the case today.

In the past, it was considered a fact that iron/steel could neither fly in air, nor float on water; but today large quantities of iron/steel are flying in the form of aircraft. Also, large quantities of iron/steel are floating in the form of ships from one part of the world to another—carrying people and cargo anywhere they wish.

In the same vein, it was once believed in the past that mankind would never be able to set foot on the moon, but someone first did it! In the past there were no drugs for treatment of many diseases; however, there are so many drugs for treatment of many diseases today.

As it happens in every generation, it will continue to happen again and again: people of faith will discover many things and change many facts. Always remember this: if people and time have been altering facts, then faith can still alter today’s facts!

3. Your Outcome in Life Is Determined By What You Believe in: Faith or Fact

In the Christian Bible, 2nd Corinthians 5:7 says: “For we walk by faith: not by sight”. The literal meaning of the above scripture is that we are meant to live our lives, have high hopes, and carry out actions on the basis of faith, which can be referred to as “the ultimate and unseen reality”. Having the heart to achieve things in life shouldn’t be governed only by the things we see with your physical eyes; it should go beyond that and be governed more by the things we cannot see physically—the unseen.

Faith, which can be referred to as “the ultimate truth”, belongs to the spiritual world, while “facts” are only limited to the physical world which we see with our physical eyes. Faith is superior to, and stronger than fact! Fact is temporal and changeable, but faith (ultimate truth) is eternal and unchangeable.

Even history has shown that fact can become untrue, even without divine or supernatural intervention. For example, it was a fact several years ago that malaria had no cure, and many people died because of it; but that is no longer the case today.

In the past, it was considered a fact that iron could neither fly nor float: but today, heavy tons of iron (in steel form) are floating and flying from one part of the world to the other in the form of ships and aircrafts, carrying both people and cargo wherever they wish to go to. In the past, there were no drugs for the cure of several diseases, but today there are so many types of drugs and cures for various types of ailments.

So, if time can alter fact, how much more will your faith instantly destroy many of the things that are considered as fact today! Despise all facts, and rather believe in faith or “the ultimate truth”. Your physical experiences and that of other people should not guide your life’s journey. Believe in the ultimate truth about the supernatural ability that GOD gave man to turn unfavorable circumstances into favorable ones. Allow your faith and belief to guide you towards your GOD-given destiny.

The scripture in Romans 10:17, the Christian Bible says: “The just shall live by faith”. This faith is based on how GOD sees ease and solutions to every situation and difficulty in this physical world. The scripture didn’t say that the just shall live by experience, night dreams, personal wisdom, skill or expertise! It said that the just shall live by faith!

Many people elevate their experiences, personal wisdom and skills above faith, ultimate truth and belief in the power of GOD to an extent that they constantly live in the realm of frustration and dissatisfaction. We have stated that faith (the ultimate truth) is superior to fact, and a lot of people know that the real battle of a man lies between fact and faith (ultimate truth). What is the difference between them?

Well, fact is a natural reality which has evidence only to the physical senses, and in the physical plane of existence; i.e. you can see, hear, feel, smell or touch it. On the other hand, faith (or ultimate truth) is supernatural or spiritual reality; and this reality is not always obvious to the body’s physical senses, i.e. you might not be able to sense faith physically, but it’s real.

Based on some people’s so-called “facts”, experience and expertise, there is/might not be any hope; but faith (the ultimate truth) says: “launch out your heart with hope”; and in many instances where faith was strong, the ultimate truth prevailed. Allow the truth to prevail in your life!

4. The Reality of Invisible Worlds & Life: Physical & Spiritual

It’s a bit shocking that in the midst of all the astonishing scientific and technological knowledge that has been discovered/invented over the ages, confusion and disbelief still abound regarding the existence of other invisible or inaccessible parts of creation; there is also uncertainty as to whether human souls live or exist before and after physical death.

Science and technology, which have helped in revealing that a lot of infinitesimal living things and particles that were once considered to be invisible, have both played a huge part in proving that everything, seen and unseen, is really alive—I mean REALLY ALIVE, and alive to such an extent that even people who don’t believe in the invisible or “spiritual” life seem to be drawn or gradually drawing away from the abyss of their disbelief in invisibility or spirituality.

In the present-day, nothing seems to be “that dead” or completely inexistent. Advances in science and technology have even made science-practicing atheists and other non-believers in GOD/spirituality have a rethink over their convictions which deny the existence of GOD and the spiritual and greater part of creation.

For thousands of years, many religious leaders, believers in GOD, spiritualists and spiritual mediums have always sounded it out, wide and loud, that all the things we see with our physical eyes are simply the result of invisible or spiritual life which has its roots in the Almighty GOD; and they seem to have been right all along before the age of scientific and technological advancement started proving this belief bit by bit.

It would do the world a lot of good if mankind could “harmonize” the “visible” life (here on Earth) with the invisible life (in the spiritual sphere) by cooperating with or properly using the spiritual power given by GOD; a power which continues to permeate through all creation in its seen and unseen parts.

Evidences of invisible life

Countless instances have proven how greatly limited the capability of man’s physical eyes and brain are to see and perceive, respectively. The brain, like the physical body is limited to this physical world’s space and time, and is not naturally able to see things beyond these limits. The human eyes are not even capable of seeing many “physical” things clearly.

Take a look at a drop of water: in many instances, it looks neat, clean and free from stain and blemish; but when viewed through magnifying lenses, the same water has been proven to contain millions of living organisms fighting and destroying each another.

Are there not innumerable bacilli in water and soil that have been found capable of causing lots of harm and destruction to human and animal bodies? Are bacilli not invisible to the unaided human eyes? Are there not energetic atoms and molecules in constant motion even though they are invisible to the human eyes?

However, these atoms and molecules immediately become visible when certain substances are viewed under magnifying glasses. Who would be able to state that nothing new will be discovered or seen after existing physical equipments are further improved upon?

Everyone would agree that if physical equipments are improved upon by 100-fold or 100,000-fold, other objects much smaller than bacilli and atoms of elements would also multiply in size and become viewable. More unseen worlds would become visible and unfold before the naked human eyes; even time travel, which has remained in the domain of fiction, could become a natural reality, and be pushed into the domain of non-fiction.

Logically, it can be inferred that the discovery of more unseen objects and worlds by science and technology would continue until “mysterious” or “spiritual” things become natural to mankind.

The reality of a spiritual world, and life after death

If we believe in the possibility of the invisible or spiritual world continuously unfolding before the eyes of mankind, we might want to ask: what is the next world or next life to come? What is life after physical death? Many people seem to be confused when they hear: “the next world”.

“The next world” can be regarded as the world that any person meets after death; or, it could be used to refer to physical and spiritual objects or life that can’t be seen or perceived by the human brain, ears, eyes and other senses that belong to our physical bodies.

The next world is beyond the detection of our physical senses. From the perspective of viewing bacilli, atoms and molecules—without considering many other forms of “life”—we would readily agree that there is no “cloak” or “wall” dividing this physical world and the unseen/spiritual world: there is no gulf.

All of creation and everything in it is interwoven and unified. There is nothing like “this world” and “that world”; rather, there is one uniform existence just like it was in the days when GOD seemed to converse more often with mankind than in the present age.

The concept of “this world” and “that world” or “the next world” arose, probably due to mankind’s inability to see everything that is visible and invisible. Probably this might be due to the fact that man looks upon himself as the center of importance in all creation, and also because he cannot see invisible organisms, invisible atoms, invisible angels, invisible nature spirits, invisible devils, invisible heavens, etc.

Invisible organisms and atoms were revealed by science, while angels, spirits and demons have been perceived by laypeople who have very sharp and refined sharp spiritual senses.

In holding a wrong perception of the invisible world, it can be rightly assumed that mankind has forcibly hindered its own spiritual progress. We would likely be on a better eternal path if we look at the different parts of creation (seen and unseen) as a single unit, and not try to draw a distinction between “this world” and “the next world”.

5. How to develop strong faith

Although faith in GOD is the greatest type of faith everyone should aspire to and acquire, faith in one’s self is very important and necessary in many areas of life. And to those who think developing faith in one’s self is wrong or bad, the best reply I’ll give is the one my greatest role model Jesus Christ gave his—then—faithless disciples who couldn’t heal a boy that was possessed by an unclean spirit; Mark 9:23 states: “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth”.

Good enough, faith is not a respecter of persons or religions; rather, it’s there for anybody, and there for the taking! Faith is something that has to be cultivated and properly taken care of until (and even after) it matures and produces great works and wonders.

We can observe that despite the close relationship Jesus had with his disciples, they (only the disciples) were not able to cast out the demons that possessed a boy whose father previously brought him to the disciples; Mark 9:18 states: “… and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not”.

Definition of faith

Faith can be defined as complete trust or confidence in GOD, someone, or something. It can also be defined as deep belief in religious doctrines based on inner spiritual conviction rather than physical proof. Faith is usually planted firmly in the heart, and is mostly strengthened on the basis of things that can’t be seen, rather than things that can be seen.

One of my best definitions of faith that supports the previous sentence can be seen in Hebrews 11:6 of the Christian Bible which states: “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. Contrary to this definition, we can easily observe that too many people need physical proof in order to strengthen their faith; this is not the right way to develop faith.

Faith can either be positive or negative, and can shift between extremely positive and extremely negative limits. Each person has a certain amount of faith which can become more positive or negative, depending on how they cultivate it, and especially when they face the ups and downs of life.

Negative faith works against people, while positive faith works in favor of people. Each person will get results in life based on their faith, or what they deeply believe in: “For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he”―Proverbs 23:7.

How strong faith can be developed

(1) By regularly cultivating quietude or stillness

One of the best foundations for developing faith and unfolding more of the subconscious mind power or spirit is stillness, or quietude which leads to calmness or composure—the ability to be composed or relaxed regardless of the challenges and anxieties experienced in life.

Our almighty creator says in Psalm 46: 10―“Be still, and know that I am GOD…”. The lesson in this scripture is that the onus of being still or calm is on us (it rests on us), and depends a lot on how best we control our thinking and make our inner being “still” or “calm” to as great an extent as possible. One way to do this is to regularly practice quietude, composure or stillness, and seeing our challenges in a more relaxed or better perspective.

One illustration that can be practiced each day is to imagine you’re a great leader and your mind is a working place that has a lot of noisy thoughts as workers who are always obedient to your commands—even if at the moment it doesn’t appear so. (As one practices regularly, one would start to see the results when noisy thoughts become more and more controllable until they actually become quiet.)

Now, whenever you’ve made up your mind to keep noisy thoughts under your control, tell these workers that work is over, and you want them to close work and keep quiet so that you can instill some sense of calm that would benefit the whole environment or mind in which they work.

When practicing this, positive results might not be seen early on, but if one consistently practices quieting their thoughts every now and then—if possible daily—especially in a quiet place, then one would observe that they are gradually beginning to be more composed, able to control their thoughts more, and switch off the endless noisy thoughts that jump into their mind whenever they like. But the problem is that too many people have become so accustomed to concentrating on noisy distractible thoughts to such an extent that they have no time to cultivate qualities like quietude, stillness or composure which are strong foundations for faith in the subconscious mind or spirit.

People are too busy bothering about the next lottery, the next presidential election, the next big movie on TV, what they would like to wear the next day, etc.—and they bother about these things to such a point that they have no time to concentrate on the things that really matter. Always remember that that every daily mundane activity is to some extent completely trivial because they won’t matter in a few days or years from today; but many years from today, it will matter to you how you cultivate stillness and quietude today and the coming days.

No man or woman can successfully apply faith by harboring thoughts of worry or anxiety; yet every man and woman can use stillness, or quietude—which instills calmness—as a firm foundation for the development and stability of their faith.

It could be very harmful for those who desire to develop faith if they consistently worry and get involved in negative discussions that can make them cultivate negative faith instead of positive faith.

Why not practice for about 30 minutes every day. Practice sitting or lying down comfortably and peacefully—and remember you must stay in a way that wouldn’t make you feel discomfort in any part of your body. Let your mind become still. Remember: “Be still and know that I am God (Psalm 46: 10) is one saying; another saying that’s relevant to this post is: “Be still and know that you have strong faith within”.

If you can practice making your mind free of thoughts, worries, anxieties and doubts, then you will observe that in a month’s time you’ll be more still, calm, poised, uplifted, and quite a different person. Some people are not conscious of noisy thoughts, but noisy thoughts do exist, and can negatively affect faith, emotional and mental well-being—if not properly controlled.

(2) By regularly feeding on positivity

Naturally, depending on our past experiences, background and present experiences, faith could become more positive or negative. That’s why it’s important for faith to be nourished and cultivated in much the same way as a habit. Faith must be pampered, fed and carefully looked after, when feeding on positivity or persistent positive thoughts.

Also, if we want to continue developing faith, we must always be positive and repeat or re-affirm what we believe in until we obtain faith; we must re-affirm what we believe in until our beliefs are driven into our sub-conscious minds or spirits which are the greater parts of us. The sub-conscious mind, which is shielded away from all the noise that usually occupies the conscious mind, is the greater part of us which can work with our faith to produce great results.

Keep on repeating what you believe until it becomes driven or implanted in your sub-conscious mind, and then you will have automatic faith. Faith is not belief. Faith is something which usually grows or diminishes with us as we age. Many of us are Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, or Jews because our parents are/were Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, or Jews.

For many of us, we believe that what our parents believed was right, so our faith developed based on what our parents believed. But sometimes this type of faith diminishes when people get older and become exposed to other more convincing types of belief—one can see the difference between faith and belief in this illustration.

No matter how difficult things might appear to be, always tell yourself that you will overcome and achieve this or that—or that you firmly believe you will do this or that. You have to keep on re-affirming it or else you might not develop great faith. Faith becomes automatic when we consistently believe in something in a positive way, again and again until it sinks into our subconscious minds.

In much the same vein, if you repeat prayers time after time, then there would come a time when you would sub-consciously start to believe in them until the day your wishes come true.

The main work lies in convincing your subconscious mind to understand and cooperate. And once you’ve implanted that belief-turned-into-faith in your subconscious mind, then you don’t have to bother anymore because your sub-conscious mind will always remind your consciousness/conscious mind that you have faith, and you can do some particular things.

Even though there are many things you don’t have sufficient faith to do today, it doesn’t mean it’s over for you for the rest of your life. Keep on telling yourself with positive words and mind pictures that you believe one day you are going to do this or that, or whatever it is you would like to do in future; then in time, you will do it/them.

All successful people, and those who become exceptional researchers, millionaires and inventors are people who have faith in themselves; they have faith that they can do whatever they conceive in their minds. This is as a result of the fact that they believed in their abilities and powers first; and then by consistently believing in themselves, they generated the faith which made their initial beliefs come to pass.

If you keep on telling yourself that you are going to succeed, you will succeed; however, you will only succeed if you continue to be positive and calm, and don’t allow doubt or negativity step in and control your mind. Always declare success, and the results that will come may surprise you.

Certain things that can affect faith

When developing faith, there are certain things that one should always take note of:

  • everybody has certain fears: some people are afraid of the dark, others are afraid of spiders or something, etc.
  • some of us might either be aware or unaware of our fears: we have fears which are in our conscious minds, but our conscious minds are only about ten per cent of our whole minds, while the remaining ninety per cent of our minds are sub-conscious. Now, the problem is that the fear in most people is in their sub-conscious minds.
  • sometimes we do things under unidentified compulsion, or we decide not to do things because of an unidentified compulsion: we don’t understand the reason why we are able to do certain things or why we are unable to do certain things. There is no reason on the surface: there is nothing that we can relate our decisions to. In fact, if we visit a psychologist, we might be surprised to find out that we have a certain fear, or are unable to do certain things because of something(s) that happened to us (coupled with other influences on our vulnerable belief systems) when we were younger.
  • the reason for fear or the inability to do certain things is usually hidden from our awareness or consciousness (conscious minds) and works against us, or nags at us from our subconscious minds in which fear been implanted by virtue of always believing in fear and thinking about it over and over.
  • negative faith, or fear doesn’t have to be conscious to be active. It is most active and uncontrollable when it is subconscious.
  • throughout our lifetimes, we have been subjected to certain experiences. A person from an Islamic background would have always believed in what they’ve been taught, or that certain things are forbidden; on the other hand, people of a different religion, with different belief systems, would have been permitted to do things not permitted in the Islamic religion.

In relation to the point highlighted above, when it comes to the issue of faith, we have to evaluate how we were brought up—our past experiences, religious and family backgrounds, etc. Everyone would agree that if we grew up with people who possess superhuman abilities, we would have likely been influenced by them, and consistently believed in ourselves until we developed faith to display superhuman feats. The opposite would likely occur too, if we grew up with people who possessed subhuman abilities, or no ability at all.

Faith can topple an empire, and faith can build an empire as well. If you develop your faith by pampering it, guiding and controlling it, then it’s true that you can have almost anything. If you are yet to acquire faith, then you can’t obtain faith or make it work by dictating to it.

It’s not possible to force faith to work because faith is like a horse: you can lead a horse to a stream to drink water, but you can’t force it to drink—and so you can lead your faith by developing it gradually, but you cannot force it to appear suddenly. It needs to be developed, and it can be done.

Advice

How are you going to develop your faith? Well, it’s only a matter of practice. Think of a situation that makes you fear and then overcome it with faith by telling yourself each time that you can do it even if others can’t. Try your best, work and persuade yourself until you get your subconscious mind or spirit working on your side.

Remember that it might not happen in an hour, a day, a week or even years, but eventually it will happen: Rome was not built in a day; doctors, professors or scientists are not made overnight. They had to consistently believe and study to succeed, and so have you. There is no other easy or painless way out!

Always practice stillness, quietude and calmness, and remember that all types of challenges and problems that interrupt our thoughts whenever we are trying to think, work or do something, will not matter in a few years’ time. They are little irritations that should be relegated to their correct status as side distractions, and nothing more.

Stillness, quietude, peace, inner composure and tranquillity are there for you if you will take time to cultivate them. All you have to do is consistently refuse to take the issues of life seriously, and always believe in yourself. Be calm, and always remember that all these challenges are minor irritations and nothing more. They were sent by nature to test you, and they certainly do!

Practice calmness and look at your difficulties in a much better perspective. It may be annoying to find that you cannot do certain things today, but it is not of earth-shaking importance after all; rather it would be more earth-shaking if you start or continue developing your faith from today.

6. How to influence your mind to attract your desires and a glorious afterlife

As the years have been passing by, I’ve been acquiring most of the things I ever desired. By taking a look at the past, it’s obvious that positive thinking has been helpful in influencing my mind to attract the things I desired/desire; today, it still influences my mind to attract the things I still desire.

From personal experience, I can boldly say that the human mind operates in a way that follows a sensible pattern which is void of any form of mystery. There is nothing mystical about the powerful influence our minds have on other people and the environment around us. Read ahead in order to see things from my own angle: how capable each human mind is in making an influence that will attract or dispel the thing(s) it desires.

Although I admit that our experiences are different, value will be found in this chapter; it will enable you to tweak your mind in order to achieve better results in terms of attracting what you want.

Have a good intention to acquire what you desire

The quest for material things should go hand in hand with a desire to weigh the spiritual value inherent in acquiring them. In this regard, I advise people to acquire material things based on spiritual values which are capable of outlasting all the material thing(s) they wish to acquire.

It’s not a bad idea to become excessively rich, but it would be a delusion to become rich and lose spiritual or immaterial values like love, peace, soundness of mind, humility, etc. It has to be noted that our stay on Earth is temporary; therefore, strive for spiritual values by showing kindness, consideration and understanding for others, instead of becoming a thief or murderer; a slanderer or a blackmailer; a liar or a rapist; etc.

When you look for spiritual values while pursuing material things, the universe and nature will always support you, even when surrounding conditions are unfavorable. From experience and observation, there are certain important steps we should follow:

Decide what you want

You must decide exactly what you want; you must visualize or conceive it in your mind. What is it that you actually want? It might not be enough for you to say you want a lot of money, a lot of cars, a lot of houses, etc. You will get far better results if you describe “in detail” what you want.

For example, if you want a new car, then you must state other things about the car: the model of the car, the engine-type (automatic or manual), the color of the car, etc. The point is this: you must state extra things that will give your mind a firm image and “strong” impression that can influence it to attract what you desire during the time you are waiting for/expecting your desire to materialize.

After creating a clear thought about what you want, frequently picture it in your mind, and always hold that picture firmly.

Give unto others so that you will be easier for you to receive

After deciding what you want, go to the next stage: GIVE so that you can receive. If you make up your mind to give, then how much are you willing to give? If you desire to acquire a particular amount of money, are you prepared to help other people with a tithe, which is the same thing as a tenth of that money? Do you have a heart to assist other people who are not as lucky/fortunate as you are?

It might sound vain to say that you will give a tithe after you get money. Make it a habit to give out money, services, or any form of assistance to those who are in need. In so doing, you will be placing yourself in a favorable position, and influencing your mind to cooperate with the universal laws of giving/receiving—in order to attract your desire(s).

Make it a habit to always practice visualizing what you want

After you’ve made a decision on what you want—to get a promotion, to get a million dollars, to become an orator, to win a lottery, or whatever it is—then consistently visualize what you want. Let’s say you’ve decided you want a new car, then decide the type of car you want: the brand of the car, the color of the car, the passenger-carrying capacity of the car, etc.

Next, use a few minutes each day to relax both mind and body; immediately thereafter, use some extra minutes (ten or twenty) to visualize yourself in the car as if you already have it—there and then. Do not think of the car as something you might have, or could have, even though you know you don’t have it at the moment. Visualize yourself having the car.

As you visualize and always create a mental picture of it, it will become a blueprint that will be influential in attracting your desire(s). Create a thought that you can continuously pour energy into in order to strengthen it until it becomes reality. If leadership skills, power, courage and influence are what you desire, add them to the picture. After frequently visualizing your desires in your mind, you will observe that you won’t have any doubt(s) that you are going to acquire them.

It must be noted that visualization can be difficult if it’s something that’s new to you! Difficulties can arise because your mind hasn’t gotten used to producing sharp pictures of the things you desire; do not bother about this. The pictures you conceive do not have to be perfect in terms of having all the traits (qualities) of the things you desire. If you discipline your mind and make it a habit to regularly visualize what you want, your mind will eventually start to believe in the visualizations and produce amazing mental pictures for you to easily choose from.

Results will be obvious if you always live the thoughts of your desires in your mind, again and again and again, for a long period—say weeks, months, or even years. Whenever doubts arise, do not be discouraged; just continue to repeat your visualizations and positive elements will naturally color the whole process until you physically acquire your desire(s).

Keep on repeating your visualizations and everything will quite naturally look after itself. Don’t bother too much about what will happen; just have faith in the process of visualization and the right things will happen at the right time. As you visualize, FEEL that the money, car, or whatever you desire, is coming to you; the more positive you are about it, the faster the reaction will be.

If you follow these steps, the thoughts of your desires will be driven into the subconscious part of your whole mind, which is ninety percent of it, and nine times more powerful than your conscious mind which you use much more consciously and frequently every day. After a good period of time, your subconscious mind—which is the platform for signs and wonders—will miraculously materialize your desires.

Words of Advice

There are things that are much more valuable than money, cars, skyscrapers, and all types of wonderful material things. If you are wise, instead of using all your effort to strive and acquire an excessive number of material things, go the other way: rather strive to acquire spiritual values like Jesus, Buddha, Martin Luther, and other great people or leaders whose auras positively influenced the eternal destinies of millions and millions of people.

Desire to acquire abilities and virtues that will outlast your short earthly life and be of profitable use to you when you leave this world. Hammer this thought into your mind: no one has ever succeeded in taking a single penny or dollar into the next world; the more material things you strive to acquire, the more material things you will leave behind.

On the other hand, the more you help other people by doing good, the more blessings and spirituality you will carry along with you into the next life—after you leave this world. It is quite unfortunate that in the present age many people think that the most important thing in life is to acquire excessive amounts of money and other forms of material things. It is not possible to help others too much; and when you help others, you indirectly attract physical and spiritual blessings to yourself.

A lot of people in the world are in desperate need of help; choose to visualize and acquire material things in order to serve your fellow human beings. After this short earthly life, there is an everlasting spiritual life in which goodness and spirituality are the currencies in use, while the present-day money and material things are like the dust of this Earth. The choice is yours to make!

7. There is magic in positive thinking—always think positively!

It is widely believed that the unseen hands of fate influence the outcomes of many activities in our lives. On the other hand, positive thinking influences many outcomes too—it often goes to the greatest extent imaginable.

We have been informed by positive thinking books—and even the most popular religious book—that people’s outcomes are products of their thoughts—“as you think, so you are”. This saying has been proven by fact that two or more people with the same opportunities, produce different results. In certain instances, one or few people produce multiple times of the amount other people produce.

It won’t be difficult to see a connection between many results in real life, and the statements related to thinking, as contained in a number of books. Generally speaking, history has proven that the size of one’s happiness and general fulfilment depends a lot on the size of one’s positive thinking—there is magic in positive thinking.

If positive thinking is effective, why can’t everybody do it?

Much of our thinking is either little, or big; negative, or positive; or a mixture of two or more types of thinking. And results could be either extremely positive, extremely negative, or anything in between.

We are surrounded by environments that always attempt to pull us down—and if possible, tear us to pieces. Here and there, we are reminded that opportunities do not exist; and so we should be contented with staying in any available little position—this is a statement that is far away from the truth.

We are told that “whatever will be, will be”; that our destiny is out of our control: we are told that fate is in complete control. So we feed on all this, and gradually begin to forget about our most cherished dreams; finally, we choose to open our arms, lie down and wait for our day of exit from this world.

The society tells us there is too much competition at the top positions of life; and so we dare not waste any effort to attain to them.

Is there evidence that positive thinking is effective?

Is there any proof that positive thinking is effective?—Fair question. Proof comes from real life experiences of people around us, who, despite experiencing various degrees of ups and downs in life, achieved great success because they maintained a consistent positive attitude.

The theories about positive thinking have been tried, tested, and found to work wonders in many life situations. Don’t get it wrong: positive thinking could still encounter challenges and problems—but it will still lead anyone to experience the reality behind the popular statement that “all things work together for good”.

Conclusion

It is a great quality to have the desire to be successful. In order to build a successful life, we need the tool called “positive thinking”. Many of us read or come across positive statements and literature every day; but seconds after reading them, we lose the feeling of their real latent power.

In order to maintain and develop the power of positive thoughts and words, we need to be consistent in our positive thinking, which will be very effective if we drive it with consistency. Remember the saying: “As a man thinks”; not: “as a man thought” or “as a man used to think”; but rather: “as a man thinks”—consistency!

If you wish to benefit from positive thinking, be consistent in your positive thinking, and you will be happy regardless of your station in life. Develop an ever-increasing desire for positive thinking, and you will greatly enhance your chances for success—you will actually end up achieving success! The biblical David said: “as one thinketh in his heart, so is he”.

“The mind is its own place and in itself can make a heaven of hell, or a hell of heaven”— Milton.

“Life is too short to be little”— Disraeli.

8. Past events that disproved the impossible: one person’s impossibility is another person’s possibility

In many areas of life, the study of things that were deemed “impossible”, actually opened up completely unexpected domains in many human endeavors—especially in science and technology.

Many events in recorded history have proven that what one person thought was “impossible”, was often regarded by another person as a “possibility”—actually, one person’s food is another person’s poison!

Past events that illustrate how people who studied the impossible, changed the course of world

It is sad to note that there were times in the past when certain reputable media outlets, professional bodies and scientists lacked positivity and belief, and declared that a number of scientific and technological ideas were hopelessly impossible:

(1) The New York Times

During the 1920s and 1930s, Robert Goddard, who has been regarded as the founder of modern design & operation, was severely criticized by people who believed that rockets would never travel in space—in fact, they disdainfully called his pursuit “Goddard’s Folly”.

An unforgettable incident occurred in 1921 when the then editors of “The New York Times” made a disgraceful statement against Dr. Goddard’s work: “Professor Goddard does not know the relation between action and reaction and the need to have something better than a vacuum against which to react. He seems to lack the basic knowledge ladled out daily in high schools”.

The editors believed it would be impossible to send rockets into space because there would be no air in space for rockets to push against. Unfortunately for the unbelieving editors, there statements have been found to be misguided and worthless for over several decades after they made unfair criticisms and utterances.

(2) Nineteenth century chemists

Chemists of the nineteenth century popularly declared that it would be impossible to find a substance—popularly known as “the philosopher’s stone”—that could turn lead into gold.

Back then, 19th century chemistry was based on the fundamental immutability of elements such as lead; fast forward to this generation and see the big difference because lead atoms can now be turned into gold.

(3) Lord Kelvin

Lord Kelvin, who is widely regarded as a prominent physicist, declared that “heavier-than-air” devices such as aircraft, would not be able to fly; also, he assumed that X-rays were deceptive, a hoax, and that the idea of the “radio” would be fruitless and without a future. It’s surprising to witness how much time has passed by, and yet all the things Kelvin thought were impossible, have become possible, and continue to remain so till date.

At the end of the 19th century, most scientists thought it was impossible for the Earth to be up to a billion years old. Lord Kelvin widely declared that molten Earth would take between 20 to 40 million years to cool down; his statement contradicted that of geologists/Darwinian biologists who claimed that the Earth could be up to a billion years old.

Finally, the impossible was proven to be possible after the discovery of nuclear force by Madame Curie and other scientists showed that if the center of the Earth is heated via radioactive decay, it could be kept in a molten state for billions of years—which the Earth’s age actually is.

(4) Albert Einstein

Initially, in the 1930s, Albert Einstein believed it would be impossible to make an atomic bomb.

Atomic physicists had already known that there was an appreciable quantity of energy located deep within nuclei—in accordance with Einstein’s equation, E = mc2; however, they wrongly assumed that the energy in each nucleus was too insignificant to use in making an atomic bomb.

On the other hand, atomic physicist Leo Szilard remembered H. G. Wells prediction in a 1914 novel titled “The World Set Free”, in which Wells predicted the development of the atomic bomb. According to the book, Wells believed that the secret behind the atomic bomb would be discovered by a physicist in 1933.

Fortunately for Szilard, after he came across Well’s book in 1932, it inspired him to develop an idea in 1933 by magnifying the power of a single atom through a chain reaction so that the energy generated from splitting a single uranium nucleus could be magnified trillions of times, and employed in making the atomic bomb.

Szilard conducted more experiments and held secret negotiations with Einstein and the then American President Franklin Roosevelt; this led to “The Manhattan Project” which was used to build the atomic bomb.

“Black holes” were once regarded as “science fiction”. In fact, Einstein wrote a paper in 1939 which “proved” that it would be impossible for black holes to be formed; yet, in the present-day, the Hubble Space Telescope and the Chandra X-ray telescope have proven the existence of thousands of black holes in outer space.

(5) Stephen Hawking

The great cosmologist Stephen Hawking tried to discover a new law of physics that would prove that time travel is impossible; he called his idea “chronology protection conjecture”.

Unfortunately, after many years of research, he was unable to disprove time travel. In fact, contrary to his idea, physicists have demonstrated that a law which would prevent time travel is beyond present-day reality.

And because there is no law that can prevent the existence of time machines, physicists see the possibility to create time machines and do time travel in the near future.

Observation

Each person has the power to believe in all types of possibilities and not be affected by the negative beliefs and influences of faithless reputable media outlets, professional bodies, people, and even great scientists.

Conclusion

Knowledge is power: the reason why certain technologies were deemed impossible was due to the obvious fact that some basic laws of natural science were unknown; this created huge gaps in the understanding of science back in the day—no wonder many scientific and technological ideas were considered impossible.

Throughout history, time and time again, people who studied things that were deemed “impossible”, stretched and broadened the boundaries of science and life, and inspired other scientists to believe that anything is “possible”.

The ideas and technologies that are regarded as “impossible” in the present-day, will become possible in a few years, decades, or centuries into the future.

9. How to turn defeat into victory by experimenting with different things

Defeat is experienced by people from different backgrounds, age groups, religious faiths, levels of education, etc. Some people who have experienced defeat are surprisingly young, while others are older, or old. Still yet, others have little or no education.

However, they all have one thing in common: they have experienced defeat, with or without previously experiencing victory. Each one of them has encountered situations they couldn’t conquer, and many of them were eager and anxious for people to hear them out, and help if possible.

This has been the experience of many across the world. It is quite unfortunate that some people have even lost all they have, and have no other place to go, or person to depend on than Mother Nature.

Look away from defeat at the bottom of the ladder, and towards victory up the top of the ladder

If we take away our eyes from the experience of people who have been defeated, and move them up a bit towards those who—despite their defeat—continued to have faith and be positive, and ended up turning defeats into victories by trying/experimenting with other things, then we can learn a great deal of lessons that can positively impact our future.

Instead of surrendering to defeat, let us be positive and take comfort from the wonderful experiences of past defeatists who successfully turned defeats into victories in various endeavors of life: business, science, arts, writing, government, etc.

Most people at the top of every field rose from different types of conditions and circumstances: poor homes, rich homes, broken homes, luxurious homes, slums, etc. But they all had one thing in common: they experienced tough challenges and circumstances.

Everyone who truly turned defeat into victory, encountered and responded to one form of defeat or another

Irrespective of background and situations—good or bad—certain people who get knocked down and just remain on the ground without making any attempt to get up; on the other hand, there is a another category of people who react differently: they summon energy and make attempts to get up, bounce back, move forward and upward ever, learn a lesson or more, and forget about when and how they got knocked down.

If you read the lifestyles of great people who have lived on Earth, you will observe that many of them were engulfed by difficulty and negative losing situations. If you probe deeper, you will find out that each one of them encountered and overcame opposition, misfortune, discouragement and setbacks many times over.

Although it is barely impossible to succeed without encountering hardship and opposition, it is possible to use hardship to move forward and upward ever

Accidents and setbacks in many fields like aviation and medicine—just to name a few—have guided or inspired aircraft engineers and doctors to experiment with other things; this has led to better aviation and health services.

A basketball coach who wins some games and loses others, watches the videos of lost games, notes the details that led to defeats, and points them out to his team. In addition, the coach tries or experiments with other approaches or techniques until success is achieved.

The lesson is this: gain or salvage something valuable from every situation—good or bad

In any endeavor of life, nothing will really make or break us more than our attitude towards circumstances. Any person can turn defeat into victory. Always look for a lesson, and keep trying other things until you find what works out, or leads to success.

Although it’s true that the world is complex and full of challenges, it is also equally true that we often make things complex for ourselves and don’t want to figure out how we do so, or how to stop it.

We like taking credit for our victories, and want the world to know about them; but at the same time, we don’t waste time in blaming destiny and other people for each of our misfortunes or setbacks. Blaming others for everything can be destructive to everybody concerned.

On the other hand, don’t try to blame yourself to the extent of believing you will never be able to overcome defeat and become victorious. If we face our faults and challenges with a positive attitude, we will likely succeed on any stage. Being self-critical in a good way can actually help us build the faith, strength and efficiency needed for success.

The great Orville Hubbard once said: “A failure is a man who has blundered but is not able to cash in on the experience”. And how right he was, and still is! Victorious people and defeatist-turned-victors study challenges and setbacks and look at them as part of universal and eternal education. With time, they become the sharpest and most unbeatable people that could be found on Earth.

Instead of blaming people or bad luck, look at challenges or setbacks and learn from them

Without experimenting new things, many people fail to see opportunities that can make them grow bigger, stronger, and more self-reliant. Blaming bad luck never got anybody anywhere!

Another thing is that many of us use the same one or few approaches to do everything instead of experimenting or trying entirely new things. In fact, this is one of the greatest obstacles that makes it difficult for many people to turn defeat into victory.

Many of us need to try new techniques or approaches whenever we meet challenges or setbacks. Most of us have strong abilities, but without experimenting something new or fresh, we might continue to experience defeats because we persist and insist on using only one or few strategies that continue to be unproductive.

Yes, we must be persistent and insist on being active; but persistence is only one out of many ingredients of victory. In certain circumstances, we might have to try again and again with other alternatives.

It’s on report that Thomas Edison conducted thousands of experiments before he invented the electric light-bulb. The important lesson to note is this: “Edison conducted experiments”; not one experiment, but a couple of experiments—in fact, so many experiments.

He was persistent in his goal to develop a light-bulb which has stood the test of time—immortality! But was his success a one-way victory without hitches? No! His persistence paid off because he blended it with testing different experiments.

Persistence alone might not guarantee success in all situations; but if blended with experimentation, could guarantee a higher probability of success.

Conclusion

Many people go through life with a high level of persistence, determination and ambition, but fail to succeed because they remain rigid, and don’t like trying or experimenting with new approaches or techniques.

It is wise to keep focussing on our goals and not waver an inch from them. But if results aren’t forthcoming, then it is advisable to look for and experiment with an entirely new approach, or different approaches.

In addition, learn to see the good side of challenges. For all things will work together for good if you remain positive and do all you can to develop clear vision and thinking. Be courageous enough to criticize yourself constructively and in a beneficial way that can only bring out the best in you.

10. The fight of faith: why give up when time comes to fight this important battle?

The fight of faith is a very important battle in all areas of life. And the way each person handles their own battles will determine the outcomes of a lot of events in their life.

We start this chapter with a narrative about “king conscious” and “magician subconscious”; a story that will help buttress a few important points: A powerful magician (the deeper part of our mind: subconscious) once informed his king (the shallow part of us: conscious) that he had discovered a way to turn sand into gold. The king picked up interest, and knew that his kingdom would be on top of the world if the magician turned sand into gold.

The magician explained the process which sounded quite easy although it placed a demand on the king: he had to leave his habitation and office, and spend an unspecified number of days in a small building where the sand could be turned into gold.

Everyone knew it would be difficult—but not impossible—for the king to leave his habitation, lifestyle, official duties, and kingdom temporarily unguided for an unspecified number of days. It would even become more difficult for the king if his wife, counsellors or officers conspired against him and put someone else in power before his return. And if for any reason he ended up leaving the building before time, then the process would come to an abrupt end, and sand wouldn’t be turned into gold.

Finally—when the time came—after a few days of staying in the building for the operation, the king became weary and tried his best to remain in the building.

But alas, he couldn’t stay anymore; so he ended up leaving and not getting any gold. Moreover, he went back to his habitation and office, and thereafter, was called the most foolish king and leader of all time. Why? Because, with all the wisdom, and high status in society—or so he thought—he was made to stoop very low, and got nothing in return.

Actually, what the citizens of the kingdom didn’t know was that the king didn’t get anything in return because he was unable to meet up with a demand that was uncertain and required a lot of patience: staying in a small building for an unspecified number of days.

This story expresses the experiences of many people who are engaged in the fight of faith—the battle of conquering the mind and achieving important goals. This fight involves an interplay between the conscious mind and the subconscious mind.

Just a brief diversion in order to make something a bit more clear: At times when someone is walking forward, they won’t take notice, or they won’t be conscious of oncoming danger because their conscious mind is elsewhere. But at the same time when their conscious mind is elsewhere, their subconscious mind—the seat of memory—sees and records everything. This is one of the reasons why, if an accident or something dangerous happens, a gifted person can still “read” or “see” what actually happened from subject’s subconscious mind; a well-trained hypnotist can do the same, even if the subject wasn’t conscious, or didn’t remember what happened.

Now back to the story which can be interpreted in many ways; it has a lesson that can be summarized in one sentence: the conscious mind often behaves in ways that bottle up the great inspiration, power and genius residing within the subconscious mind. One thing that most people are either not aware of, or have failed to recognize is that the conscious mind can exercise negative influence on the subconscious mind.

If an individual consciously believes they will fail despite all the success they have achieved, they will end up failing; the reverse is also true—if an individual consciously believes they will succeed despite the failure they have been experiencing, they will end up succeeding.

The reason why some multimillionaires or rich people commit suicide, and poor people live happily is because their conscious minds held unto a certain belief to the extent that it sank into the subconscious and caused them to either be happy or unhappy—thus leading to other actions or consequences.

If a person doesn’t have any faith deep within (in the subconscious, or subconsciously), then it will be difficult to stimulate the subconscious mind and arouse the power or genius that usually sleeps deep within it.

Despite our knowledge about positivity, why do many of us lose the battle of faith?

Most of us grew up from childhood to adulthood, and have heard a lot of positive messages from religious teachers, motivational speakers, and mentors.

We have been fully aware of popular statements such as: “you shall ask for what you want, and it will be given unto you”; “verily I say unto you, whosoever shall say unto this mountain, ‘Be removed and cast into the sea’, and does not doubt in their heart, but believes that those things which he has said will come to pass; he will have whatsoever he says”; “The kingdom of God is within you”.

But despite hearing these statements and others, and thinking we believe, doubt usually comes with a big bang on our hearts, and most of us lose the fight of faith, even before it gets started.

It’ll be difficult to win the fight of faith (for example: against poverty) to become rich, if we always expect to be (or remain) poor. Doubting the ability to get a wish is like trying to reach the north by going directly to the east.

Regardless of any situation, if we always speak negatively to ourselves, we will end up building a great wall of disbelief against our progress in the future. And regardless of how hard we might work for success, if our thoughts are saturated with negativity and fear, our efforts will be neutralized, and it will be difficult to achieve success.

So how can we acquire faith?

Faith is something that has to be pampered, fed, nourished, and even looked after, if one wishes to get good results from it. In order to obtain faith, we must consistently believe in what we want to achieve until the knowledge and impressions of it are driven from the surface of our consciousness into the depths of our subconsciousness.

According to many reputable sources, the subconscious mind takes up about ninety per cent of the whole mind, while the remaining ten per cent is conscious, and not as powerful as the subconscious mind which is the seat of memory.

The thing is that if we always strengthen our thoughts with what we believe (have faith) in, especially in a positive manner and with a positive attitude, our powerful subconscious minds wouldn’t help but respond positively. If you keep on telling yourself, time after time, again and again, that you are going to achieve one particular thing or another—or whatever it is that you really want to do—then in time you will do it.

All successful people, millionaires, inventors and great achievers have a lot of faith in themselves and whatever they set their hearts to do. They have a lot of belief in their own capabilities; and by having strong and positive belief over a period of time, they generated the faith and power that turned their belief into reality.

So if we keep telling ourselves in positive way that we are going to succeed, then we will succeed—but we will only succeed if we keep declaring success to ourselves, and not allow doubt (negativity) to sink through our conscious minds and take hold of our subconscious minds.

Despite the limits that reality attempts to impose on us, we still have to define and go for what we want instead of leaving everything to be influenced by the hands of fate which can in turn be influenced by human faith.

Regardless of the circumstances imposed on us—synonymous with how the earth covers the precious/untapped minerals of the Earth—we have far more unlimited potential than we are usually aware of; we have far more unlimited potential than the abilities we have been able to unleash.

When doing so, they unleash that hidden unlimited potential which each human being has the opportunity to tap into and materialize great deeds. One very important question that needs a good answer is this: are we ready to tap into our GOD-given human unlimited potential?

It is important to note that people who accomplish great things believe they have unlimited potential and always make appreciable effort to locate it and tap into it more and more each passing day. Nothing great/new will ever be achieved, and no difficulty will ever be surmounted if we allow family, environment, society, or current level of faith or ability determine what we can or cannot do.

Always put it at the back of your mind that human potential is unlimited, and expands without limit whenever appreciable effort is put in to work and improve on it. We must always remember and believe that we have unlimited potential; and so we have to do our utmost best to protect our hearts with positivity whenever we meet challenges.

Don’t allow the pressure of self and society to influence your unlimited potential and make it fall: “if you think you are standing firm, be careful so you won’t fall”—1st Corinthians 10:12 (The Bible).

There are too many things and activities in creation that do not sow, reap, gather, or do anything. Yes, many things in creation don’t seem to do any work; yet GOD either supplies them with energy, or sponsors their activities consistently.

Without help from GOD’s universal power, natural and spiritual activities wouldn’t/won’t occur. In reality, what work does the sun do to generate rays or sunlight? Or, what work does the Earth do to summon enormous quantities of sun rays from 150 million kilometers away from the sun?

What power does the sun use to make enormous quantities of light rays travel at a speed of 300,000 kilometers per second, and within 8 minutes from the sun to the Earth? What, what and what? We may keep asking until we lose count.

Have you ever considered the birds, lilies, grass, sun, and other things or activities; and also the amount of intelligence involved in their activities? The mystery behind unequal allocation of talents & circumstances: GOD knows what he’s doing

We know that each person is born into either, fortunate circumstances, or unfortunate circumstances. Also, fortunate and unfortunate circumstances show up during each person’s life, and each person is given different talents, opportunities or challenges, which will either lift them up, or bring them down.

The difference in distribution of talents and circumstances at birth, and during the journey of life, could make people ask whether there is any justice behind fortune or misfortune at birth, and during the course of life.

Why does it seem that there is gross arbitrariness in the allocation of circumstances/situations and talents, especially when GOD is considered to be just, impartial and perfect in the way he goes about things?

Why are some people more fortunate than others?

Questions. Questions, and more questions. In fact, endless questions:

  • Why are some children born into rich families, while others are born into families that live in misery and bitter poverty?
  • If there is any divine justice, why do some new born babies have hereditary diseases? Are they bearing the sins of their parents?
  • If the parents of a child deserve punishment, is it fair for punishment (or death, in some cases) to be transferred to their child?
  • Why must an innocent child suffer?
  • etc.

These questions and many others, too many to mention, are usually asked by so many people.

Then, why should anyone believe in divine justice?

Even people who have complete belief in GOD, still rack their brains with questions about the quality of justice behind certain circumstances people were/are born into, or acquired/acquire during their journeys through physical life.

Even the statement that “all things work together for good”, does not answer many questions satisfactorily.

The thoughts/ways of GOD our creator, are different from ours

It might be a good idea to remind everyone (especially those who believe in GOD) about relevant scriptures that deserve to be mentioned in this article, because of the great light they shed:

  • Isaiah 55:8―9 states: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD; For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts”.
  • Job 37:23 states: “Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict”.
  • Psalm 82:3 states: “Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy”.

Inasmuch as we might agree or disagree that GOD has power, plenty of justice, and defends the poor and fatherless—as the second and third scriptures state—it will be easier for us to agree that GOD’s thoughts and ways are far higher than ours—just as the first scripture states.

  • John 4:24 states: “God is a spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth”.

This scripture likely implies that belief in GOD places a responsibility on us to believe in the spirit and truth of the reality of the obvious gap between GOD’s thoughts/ways, and our own thoughts/ways.

We should learn to accept some things that this brief life has offered us, and wait in jubilant expectation of complete knowledge and understanding of the greatness of the eternal life that is coming.

What about a glance at circumstances from GOD’s perspective?

GOD is definitely invisible. His thoughts and ways are also definitely invisible. His home and vicinity are invisible as well!

Even most parts of the vast physical cosmos outside of our world, are also invisible. So there are many invisible worlds which a lot of people—especially those who grumble about the workings of GOD—do not know anything about.

If grumblers, doubters, or non-believers could glance into the invisible world and observe the wonderful and eternal work of GOD’s spirit, as it empowers both visible and invisible parts of creation, they would stop grumbling; they will be filled with shame at their wrong presumptuous thoughts and attitudes.

If grumblers were capable of viewing life from GOD’s heavenly and spiritual part of creation, they would likely bow to the greatness and infallibility of what that they would see.

Then, and only then would grumblers accept that they’ve been completely wrong in the way they have imagined GOD’s thoughts and ways to be.

Then, and only then would grumblers accept that the highest earthly conceptions of GOD’s thoughts and ways only belittle GOD’s omnipotence, and depreciate the value of his great works.

We shall understand the reasons for everything when we get over to the other side

A look, at yet another important scripture: 1st Corinthians 13:12 states: “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known”.

Everything might look gloomy today. There are too many questions about life might never get any answers—NEVER.

However, irrespective of any condition, there is definitely a good reason, beyond our wildest imaginations, why GOD allowed/has allowed us to be born into fortunate or unfortunate circumstances, and with few or many talents.

There is no injustice; rather, there are reasons why we are given different qualities and quantities of talents, and born into fortunate or unfortunate circumstances.

We might not be able to understand now, but when this short life is over and we get to the other side of life, where spirituality is the currency, we will understand everything!

Questions that GOD has for you

Even though GOD is not here to speak for himself, his word still speaks on his behalf, and it will be spiritually beneficial to contend with some of the questions GOD asked Job when it seemed Job was grumbling too much.

After all, these questions are still relevant and can stir up some spiritual insight that mankind needs in today’s world. The questions, which can be seen in Job chapter 38, between verses 1 and 8, were part of the discussion GOD had with Job:

Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:

  • Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
  • Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the Earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
  • Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
  • Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?

Observations

Those who are familiar with the story of Job know that Lucifer (Satan, the Devil) was the one who instigated Job’s problems in the invisible world, after he (Lucifer) communicated with GOD.

Also, GOD allowed Job to have problems in order to prove to Lucifer that Job’s worship of GOD wasn’t only because of the wealth GOD had given him (Job).

Even if GOD had decided not to reverse Job’s misfortunes back into fortunes, Job’s misfortunes are not adequate standards that should be used to judge the validity and quality of GOD’s justice.

For those of us who believe in GOD, eternity and eternal life, we know that each person’s life on Earth is only a very tiny part of our eternal existence.

Also, we know that none of us were there when GOD laid the foundations of the Earth—and all the worlds in the universe.

And although we were not there, we believe that GOD measured the Earth’s foundations and stretched a line upon it, as he said.

Also, we believe that GOD is the only being capable of fastening the Earth’s foundations, and shutting up the sea with doors when they brake forth.

Not only that; we believe that GOD powers the whole universe, along with all the visible, invisible, living and non-living things in each part of it.

Conclusion

I’m sure that, like Job, most of us make a lot of assumptions about GOD without having adequate knowledge and understanding.

GOD’s ways and justice system shouldn’t be judged on the basis of fortunate and unfortunate circumstances in one Earth-life—be it 100 years, 80 years…1 day, or even zero days. It doesn’t matter.

What many people don’t know, or might have forgotten, is that birth on Earth is just the beginning of our eternal existence.

Caring GOD vs uncaring GOD; GOD will present himself according to your perception of him

I understand why some people think GOD isn’t caring, or why he “seems” to care more about some people than he “seems” to care about others. Probably, they think so because unfortunate circumstances have overwhelmed them to a point they couldn’t think otherwise. Depending on how you allow or disallow the challenges of life to overcome your positive feelings about GOD, GOD will appear to you in proportion to your perception about him: You will have the GOD you perceive. Proverbs 23:7 states: “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee”. The second part of that scripture contains a trait that can be noticed in a part of this generation of GOD’s followers: they appear to be merry and actually ask people to do the same, but their hearts do not believe that GOD is a caring GOD.

Think about a caring and rich GOD who is so great that no one can describe his net worth! Although some followers of GOD have divided opinions about his kindness, love and generosity, it’s generally believed that he would give enough material possessions, love and treasures to those who serve him.

Believers in GOD, irrespective of religion, know that the following statements are true:

  • “All beasts in every forest, and cattle upon a thousand hills belongs to GOD “—Psalm 50:10
  • “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, says the LORD of hosts”—Haggai 2:8.

Everything belongs to GOD—the world, its inhabitants and the whole universe—and everybody who believes in GOD is aware that GOD will always have innumerable assets, even if he decides to hand over ownership of the Earth to mankind without expecting it back. However, a lot of his followers believe—and some actually declare—that due to their challenges and unproductive lifestyles, GOD is uncaring because he watches how they struggle with challenges and live unproductively in poverty, instead of in abundance.

The feeling that GOD doesn’t care

Most people who harbor this thought have actually been overwhelmed by their battles against the challenges of life which they couldn’t/haven’t overcome. It’s been so overwhelming for some people that they’ve accepted living with problems and in states of continuous need. Worst still, is the fact that some of GOD’s children or followers have labelled him as “uncaring”, and as a GOD who “selects” those whom he wants to help: they praise the goodness of their father in public, but deep down in their hearts they think he is uncaring. All of these incidences take place while our great GOD and rich father still has untold wealth which is very much intact and  always available for distribution.

What perception do you have about GOD?

People’s perception about something is not always based on reality. Just because people have a particular impression about something doesn’t mean that it’s real. On a general note, it’s impossible for mankind—who lives in a three-dimensional world, or at most a four-dimensional world—to have a complete perception of GOD who is in a far greater multi-dimensional world or realm (the heavens) than we are.

One reality that backs up this statement is the fact that we can’t see GOD and the heavens, but he can see us and every reality existing in the invisible physical and spiritual parts of creation.

Let’s use this illustration to demonstrate how misleading people’s perceptions could be: if three people are blindfolded, and asked to describe a building based on the parts they’re able to touch, the first person might describe the building as a window—probably because he/she was able touch a lot of windows—while the second might describe the building as a door. The third person might say something different: the building is made of wood or ceramic tiles, probably because of the impression felt by touching either material too many times.

All these perceptions wouldn’t give a true reflection of the overall picture of the building which would comprise of the different descriptions given by each of the three blindfolded people, and other descriptions too many to mention, but which everyone would agree are parts of modern-day buildings.

In the same vein, if your perception of GOD comes from a blind, limited, or three-dimensional view, then you are bound to distort the reality about GOD and perceive or project GOD as an uncaring GOD. Unfortunately, anyone who reasons like this would have to live with the consequences that normally come from thinking this way.

On the other hand, and fortunately, if you perceive GOD to be caring and a great provider, you will live with the abundant provisions that normally come from thinking this way too. Each person’s perception of GOD will determine the level of their relationship with him: you can get more insight about this if you read the ways of God are superior to the acts of God.

Another illustration of how GOD can be wrongly perceived

In order to acquire a better understanding of how GOD can be wrongly perceived, let’s take a brief look at the parable about the stewards who were given talents, as described by the Lord Jesus in the Christian Bible’s book of Matthew 25: 14―18; this scripture, along with the another one in the book of Genesis 1:28, briefly describe how our good GOD gave mankind authority over the affairs of planet Earth.

In fact, the book of Matthew describes the master in the parable as a good and generous lord who gave out various amounts of talents to three servants, respectively; however, the servant who had the least (one) talent was the laziest and never invested his talent like the other two servants who were given greater talents—two and five talents respectively.

It was rather unfortunate that for whatever reason, the steward with one talent had a perception that his master (GOD) was harsh, greedy, and unjust (Matthew 25:24): this is what many people have been doing and still do up to this generation.

GOD is a caring GOD and generous provider

Contrary to the insinuation that GOD is harsh, the parable we looked at informs us that the master (GOD) delivered unto his servants his (GOD’s) own property: he gave the first servant five talents, the second servant two talents, and the third servant one talent—“he gave each servant according to their respective abilities”.

The master in this parable is obviously GOD the generous provider who always provides for everyone—believers and non-believers alike—without desiring any returns that are less productive.

The question that needs an answer is this: “what are you doing with the least amount of talent you’ve been given, and which if you use wisely, would make you the greatest steward”?

Use the talent you have instead of procrastinating, being lazy, and complaining

Instead of using the amount of talent you’ve been given—which is based on GOD’s level of trust in your abilities—are you complaining about GOD and envying those whom he has given more talents/blessings, instead of casting laziness aside and using your single (one) talent to become great?

Irrespective of the amount of talent each real and unbiased follower of GOD has—in wealth and in poverty, in sickness and in good health, in good times and in bad times, or whatever mixture of conditions—they willingly use their talent, time and energy to enhance the world around them, and our caring GOD continues to entrust more of his wealth and property into their hands.

If you’ve been thinking that GOD is uncaring, I hope are beginning to get a clearer and unbiased perception of our great GOD: he wants to trust each one of us. In this regard no person is greater than another; we are all given various talents on a clean slate at birth, and are expected to use our talents in ways that could bless everybody we’re able to come in contact with.

At this point, it might be a good idea to consider the talents you have failed to unleash and make productive use of, probably because we you were/have been too lazy or too afraid of losing everything; if this has been your mindset, then be informed that you have nothing to lose because every talent you have and everything GOD has placed under your control actually belongs to him—and it’s only in sowing and giving that you’ll be able to acquire the abundance that GOD promises in many verses of his holy books.

If you live your life withholding your God-given talents instead of unleashing them for the benefit of the world that GOD entrusted to you, then be assured that one day you will stand before him, probably ashamed of the way you handled the gifts and talents he gave you.

It’s important for the impatient people of this age to take note: it’s likely that if anyone doesn’t invest time, talent and energy, then the person could become poorer, less productive, or even completely unproductive. Because of the universal law of “sowing and reaping”, it’s easier and more possible to lose everything by holding everything too tightly without ever releasing it—Proverbs 11:24 describes this better. In case you haven’t yet started making optimum use of your talents, then it’s not too late to start today: always look for ways to make the most out of them.

How have you been presenting GOD in actions and words?

Have you been presenting GOD as a caring GOD even though you are poor or lack most of the good things of life? Have you been presenting to the world the fact that our caring GOD is also the GOD of the poor, and the GOD of those whom he has entrusted with smaller amounts of talents? Do you believe that GOD takes steadfast stewards out of poverty and makes them rich—probably even richer than the rich? If you’ve been thinking so, then you’ve been thinking right, irrespective any condition you might be facing in life.

Conclusion

I understand why some people think GOD doesn’t care, or why they think he seems to care more about some people than he seems to care about others; also, I understand that people think this way, probably because unfortunate circumstances have overwhelmed them to a point they weren’t mentally strong enough to think or believe otherwise.

Jeremiah 1:5 tells us that “GOD knew us before he conceived us in our mothers’ wombs; before we were born, he blessed us to become blessings unto nations”. The fact is that GOD sent us into this world, and this involves adventures of trials, tribulations and temptations that attempt to bring us down, but which we have the power to overcome if we don’t put our resistance down. GOD wants us to grow to spiritual perfection by overcoming our temptations and trials.

While we are going through turmoils of challenges, temptations, trials, etc., GOD doesn’t want us to remain on the ground permanently, whenever we fall: if we fall, he wouldn’t want us to remain down for too long.

The truth is that nobody is immune from challenges and defeats, and no one will ever be exempted from this fate in the future: even GOD’s greatest and closest prophets/messengers weren’t/aren’t exempted from this. Overcoming challenges is adventurous and exciting, and would only bring great benefits by making us grow mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Nobody, and no position in life—such as president, king, etc.—is immune from the threats and challenges of poverty, hardship, sicknesses, etc. The good news is that, even if you have only one talent, you can overcome any challenge and be elevated to the top.

Advice/exhortation

We must all exercise patience like our GOD who is also the GOD of patience (Romans 15:5). Even if we have all the talent and GOD’s favor supporting us, we need to exercise patience in many areas of our lives:

Hebrews 10:36—“For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise”.

James 1:4—“But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing”.

James 5:11—“Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy”.

Luke 21:19—“ In your patience possess ye your souls”.

Romans 5:3—“And not only so, but we glory in tribulations, also knowing that tribulation strengthens patience”.

Romans 15:4—“For whatsoever things were written in the past, were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope”.

Most times, many people—including me—probably don’t think much about God and his greatness. We are too engrossed in our own activities—either fortunate or unfortunate—up to a point that we hardly think about God, Mother Nature, the trees, birds and other wonderfully created beings and creatures of God. Creation gives a clue to the greatness of God beyond what we can only see. Nowadays—arguably more than at any other time in history—mankind unconsciously and unintentionally takes the back seat when considering the common things of life. This causes them to close their own minds from seeing the greatness of God which is exposed through the simplicity of observing his creatures and his creation. In reality, the follower(s) of any religion, or believers in God, can sense much of God’s greatness by reading the contents of their respective “holy books” or “words of God”. A lot of mysteries and miracles (backed up with historical evidence) can be read and deeply sensed from reading and meditating on the words in the holy books. Coupled with reading the words of God, another inspiring thing to do is to take a look is to take a look or behold the products of God’s amazing power: the tangible things you can see, hear and feel around you.

Over the ages, and up till this moment, the words in the “holy books” have always acted as a direct signpost from God’s creation to his immensely great power. From the time he created the first man, many of his followers (who are on a different page from those who disbelieve) gained extraordinary insight about God’s mysterious powers of manifesting his own thoughts in physical forms. Saint Paul was quite audible and clear when he said: “since the creation of the world, the hidden characteristics of God have been clearly understood by the things he created around us”. Even stone-hearted disbelievers like Pharaoh and Nebuchadnezzar (just to name a few people who attempted to exalt themselves above God) were forced to accept God’s sovereignty when the chips went down on their haughtiness. At the end of the battle between little Pharaoh and God, Pharaoh lost every important thing he had because he went against God’s instructions by keeping the Israelites as slaves in captivity. When the sun set on the battle between tiny Nebuchadnezzar and almighty God, he (Nebuchadnezzar) was changed into another form and driven away from people to eat grass like an ox.

One of the most touching stories in the Christian Bible, is the one that narrates how God spoke to Job out of a whirlwind, and what he (God) specifically told him (Job). Rather than being sorry and apologetic to Job for the hardship he was going through, God talked to him about the beauty in creation as expressed through various types of animals he (God) created. This story shows God’s own decision to direct and inspire man towards looking at the creative side of life, instead of concentrating on hardship. It seemed like God was indirectly telling Job to view his (God’s) greatness in order to gain the power to wipe away his (Job’s) own tears. Well, at the end of the battle against adversity, all of Job’s tears were wiped away. In truth, the mystery, greatness and splendor of God’s creatures, along with creation, should actually draw us closer to God: they should make us adore him and talk to others about him. Nowadays, you find that that’s not so much the case because a major part of mankind is too fixed on their “own” thing(s), and have forgotten that God created them as a part of the beautiful, and much bigger creation.

 

The Reality of Invisible Worlds & Life: Physical & Spiritual

It’s a bit shocking that in the midst of all the astonishing scientific and technological knowledge that has been discovered/invented over the ages, confusion and disbelief still abound regarding the existence of other invisible or inaccessible parts of creation; there is also uncertainty as to whether human souls exist before and after physical death. Science and technology, which have helped in revealing that a lot of infinitesimal living things and particles that were once considered to be invisible, have both played a huge part in proving that everything, seen and unseen, is really alive—I mean REALLY ALIVE—and alive to such an extent that even those who don’t believe in invisible or “spiritual” life seem to be drawn or gradually drawing away from the abyss of their disbelief in invisibility or spirituality; now, nothing seems to be “that dead” or completely inexistent. Advances in science and technology have even made science-practicing atheists and other non-believers in God/spirituality have a rethink over their convictions which deny the existence of God, and a spiritual and greater part of creation.

For thousands of years, many religious leaders, believers in God, spiritualists and spiritual mediums have always sounded it out, wide and loud, that all the things we see with our physical eyes are simply the result of invisible or spiritual life which has its roots in an/the Almighty God—and they seem to have been right all along before the age of scientific and technological advancement started proving this belief bit by bit. It would do the world a lot of good if mankind could “harmonize” the “visible” life (here on Earth) with the invisible life (in the spiritual sphere) by cooperating with or properly using the spiritual power given by God, and which continues to permeate through all creation, in its seen and unseen parts. Happy will be the man who uses this spiritual power for good, but woeful will it be for the man who falls for the temptation to misuse it!

Evidences of invisible life

Countless instances have proven how greatly limited the capability of man’s physical eyes and brain are to see and perceive, respectively. The brain, like the physical body is limited to this physical world’s space and time and is not naturally able to see things beyond these limits. The human eyes are not even capable of seeing many “physical” things clearly. Take a look at a drop of water: in many instances, it appears to be neat, clean, and free from stain and blemish, but when viewed through magnifying lenses, the same water has been proven to contain millions of living organisms fighting and destroying each another.

Are there not innumerable bacilli in water and soil that have been found capable of causing lots of harm and destruction to human and animal bodies? Are bacilli not invisible to the unaided human eyes? Are there not energetic atoms and molecules in constant motion, but which are invisible to the human eyes? However, these atoms and molecules immediately become visible when substances are viewed under magnifying glasses. Who would be able to state that nothing new will be discovered or seen after existing physical equipments are further improved upon? Everyone would agree that if physical equipments are improved upon by 100-fold or 100,000-fold, other objects much smaller than bacilli and atoms of elements would also multiply in size and become viewable. More unseen worlds would become visible and unfold before the naked human eyes; even time travel, which has remained in the domain of fiction, could become a natural reality, and be pushed into the domain of non-fiction. Logically, it can be inferred that the discovery of more unseen objects and worlds by science and technology would continue until “mysterious” or “spiritual” things become natural to man.

The reality of a spiritual world, and life after death

If we believe in the possibility of the invisible or spiritual world continuously unfolding before the eyes of mankind, we might want to ask: what is the next world or next life to come? What is life after physical death? Many people seem to be confused when they hear: “the next world”. “The next world” could be considered as the world after death, or physical and spiritual objects or life that can’t be seen or perceived by our brains, ears, eyes and other senses that belong to our physical bodies. The next world is beyond the detection of our physical senses. From the perspective of viewing bacilli, atoms and molecules, without considering many other forms of “life”, we would readily agree that there is no “cloak” or “wall” dividing this physical world and the unseen/spiritual world: there is no gulf. All creation and everything in it is interwoven and unified. There is nothing like “this world” and “that world”; rather, there is one uniform existence just like it was in the days when God conversed more often with mankind than today.

The concept of “this world” and “that world” or “the next world” arose probably due to mankind’s inability to see everything, visible and invisible. Probably this might be due to the fact that man looks upon himself as the center of importance in all creation, and also because he cannot see the invisible organisms, invisible atoms, invisible angels, invisible nature spirits, invisible devils, invisible heavens, etc.; invisible organisms and atoms were revealed by science, while angels, spirits and demons have been perceived by laypeople who possess sharp spiritual senses. In holding a wrong perception of the invisible world, it might be agreed that man has forcibly hindered his own spiritual progress. We would likely be on a better eternal path if we look at the different parts of creation (seen and unseen) as a single unit, and not try to draw a distinction between “this world” and “the next world”.

How your faith can be strengthened by remembering GOD’s greatness & goodness at all times

By remembering all the good and inspiring things any provider has provided for us in the past, we can always strengthen our faith in such a provider, even when we don’t receive free provisions from him or her as regularly as we used to.

To make the impact even stronger, if we can remember all the good and inspiring things that the almighty GOD has done for us—no matter how little or big—we could develop much healthier emotions and expect more great experiences in future!

“In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths”The Christian Bible.

In addition to this biblical scripture, I would say “in all your experiences acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths”. The scripture doesn’t state “in only your good ways”, but it does state “in all your ways”. This simply means “no matter what”: “for better, for worse”“regardless of any circumstances”!

GOD could be saying to us: “oh you of little faith”

There is no provider that will be happy with someone whom they have been providing for, when somewhere along the line the person loses faith as a result of not receiving one or few provisions.

The same goes with GOD. We see a similar situation in the Christian Bible when Jesus uttered the following words to his followers:

  • “O you of little faith…Do you not yet understand (acknowledge), or remember the five loaves of the five thousand and how many baskets you took up? Nor the seven loaves of the four thousand and how many large baskets you took up?”

In order to strengthen your faith, do not forget your past victories even though they are in the past

Even though GOD has been with us before birthand even up to this very secondyet many of us are still a great source of disappointment to Him at times because we lack understanding and do not acknowledge or remember the past great deeds we experienced as a result of the life and support he freely gave to us.

Many of us have not been able to grasp the spiritual truths that help to strengthen our faith. Why? Because we are only hell-bent on only the victories of the present. Without present or instant victories, many of us lose the ability to strengthen our faith even though we can do so by feeding positively on our past victories.

Always keep in mind the great deeds GOD made you to experience in the past, and have great expectations for the future

GOD has done many wonderful things for all of us even if we do not remember or acknowledge what He has done. By consistently remembering what GOD has done for us in the past, we should be able to summon enough spiritual strength to dispel all forms of disbelief.

In the midst or similar challenges, the difference between those whose faith dwindles (even though they have tasted GOD’s greatness and goodness in the past), and those whose faith become stronger (even though they might not have tasted the greater side of GOD’s greatness and goodness in the past) is that the first category of people do not remember and feed off the victories of the past, while the second category of people do it to the fullest.

Most especially, if we are ever going to make progress in our spiritual life, we will need to have a real firm foundation, and such a foundation can only be provided by GOD on the basis of our knowledge of, and belief in him.

If you are on a rock that consists of GOD, then no power will ever move you

Everything will come to us as a result of our foundation which could either be in GOD, or outside him. In any area of life, you must have a firm foundation within, such as only GOD can provide; all else is sinking sand!

If you build things on anything else than GOD, it will not mean much without Him because they are like sand when compared to GOD who provides the most solid foundations that cannot be seen.

When it comes to the things that matter on the long run, and in eternity, only GOD can provide a solid foundation that can hold things eternally; every other thing outside of GOD will break apart.

Many people in the world still don’t know that GOD is the foundation of all things

In terms of personality, power, substance, and anything, GOD is the greatest. He is greater than any relationship; He is greater than any privilege; He brings into realization what you have never thought about or seen.

We live in a universe and world that has uncountable inhabitants that were created by GOD, and whose livelihood and sustenance are eternally nourished by GOD, the firmest foundation.

For those who hold unto GOD as their foundation, it would help a lot to renew their thoughts about Him every day, and think about Him every day, if not their impression about Him could become stale and lose inspiration.

No matter who you are in life, or what you have achieved, GOD’s thoughts will always be higher than your thoughts, and His ways will always be higher than your ways.

Whenever you think you have come up with the best plan, GOD has something better. That’s why we should learn to call upon Him and be patient as he works to implant His highest thoughts and ways into our lives—He has the best plans for us!

Regardless of whether challenges exist or not, learn how to throw down your sword and surrender to GOD

Our victories will be so much greater in life if we realize our limitation and surrender our battles and authority to GOD. Whenever we reach our last  limits, GOD knows the secret paths we can use to move further and reach our final destination.

Some of the things we think are destructive challenges are in reality GOD’s best thoughts and ways for us. GOD’s plans are the best for us; regardless of whether we are in that lion’s den, in that odd environment, or even in that pit of hell!

GOD has the best plans beyond anything we can ever know or think

Before birth, GOD planned the best long-term—not sort-term—plan for every individual life. We will miss GOD’s grandest plan for our life if we forcefully try to employ any other plans which we think are better!

Always remember that as the heavens are far higher than the Earth, so are GOD’s ways far higher than ours; the same goes for His thoughts when compared with ours—always remember this!

In addition, always keep in mind that “all things work together for good to them that love GOD”—all things will work together for your good!

With GOD, nothing in the past or present will outdo or be greater than the greatness we will achieve in the future

No matter the challenges and unfortunate circumstances we may face tomorrow, we should constantly be filled with high expectations because GOD’s long-term eternal plans are the best for us!

Many tricky and challenging circumstances often happen, but if we have the opportunity to view them high up there from GOD’s side, we will be surprised to find out and see that GOD’s power and direction are behind them.

There is a way that GOD works: difficulties and challenges are blessings in disguise

If we follow GOD conscientiously, we will find out that trials and hardships are tools that He uses to help us grow spiritually, and take us to the destination of greatness he planned for us long before we were born.

Yes, you might have a good plan; you might even think you have the best plan, but GOD has something that’s uncountable times better than your best plan—a higher standard for us than we will ever be able to think of! The best thing to happen in life is for GOD’s plan to take over our lives, rather than our own plans!

GOD and science: why is GOD not often mentioned in modern-day scientific discussions?

If anybody observes most of the modern-day scientific literature that has been published throughout history, they would likely come to a sensible and obvious conclusion that science and many scientists—who like citing peoples’ works—have not been leaving much room for discussions about GOD works in their literature or publications.

Most people will perfectly understand that science—as a man-made endeavor—relies only on the five senses to arrive at certain beliefs and conclusions about nature.

On the other hand, GOD—Who will remain eternally invisible—cannot be perceived or studied by the five physical senses; rather, He can be perceived by man’s spirit and spiritual senses if man has sufficient faith.

Many scientists—especially physicists—do not even believe in the existence of GOD; they don’t believe that GOD controls natural phenomena and things that they study on Earth and in outer space.

To be honest, it’s not always easy to find a scientist, or a scientific paper or publication that discusses about GOD. Scientists could believe and idolize GOD, but they hardly relate Him with the beliefs and scientific works they publish in their writings.

Aristotle is probably the first natural philosopher or ancient scientist in recorded history to speak and write about GOD. One could wonder what inspired him to do both!

Aristotle called GOD the “unmoved mover” who created the celestial (spiritual) and terrestrial (physical) worlds which He placed side by side, and in harmony with each other.

Aristotle spoke and wrote about the one Supreme GOD, but didn’t criticize or deny the existence of numerous other gods which the Greeks and other nations popularly believed in, and worshipped.

Sir Isaac Newton—a great scientists that should always be taken seriously—believed that GOD is the One responsible for ordering motion and gravity, and coordinating the movement of planets.

Albert Einstein believed so such in GOD, His existence and power to such an extent that he attempted to study and analyze GOD’s thinking.

Sir Isaac Newton perceived and believed that it wouldn’t be possible for the level of perfection behind natural phenomena to exist without guidance and control from a supreme being who created such perfection and harmony.

Sir Isaac Newton believed that GOD placed each universe where they are, and they will remain there forever. He also believed that GOD has been preventing planets from destruction due to the sun’s rays which are very powerful.

Some past studies reported that during the classical period, a few leading physicists studied the circumstances surrounding some declarations related to the existence of a supreme GOD, and His involvement in the universe!

According to Laplace’s scientific determinism (the knowledge that natural phenomena obeys definite scientific laws), all phenomena in the universe obeys laws, and there is always a reason or cause for everything that happens.

However, Laplace did not mention GOD in his scientific works. When asked by French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte why he didn’t mention GOD in his works, Laplace replied by saying he didn’t feel the need to do so.

Hawking—who once let the world know he is an atheist—said that no GOD or supreme being rules the universe, and there is nothing supernatural about the universe.

It seems that although most scientists do not discuss about GOD in their works, some of them secretly saw the need for a GOD Who rules creation—this might still be the case in the present- or modern-day.

It is likely that even though many scientists had secret beliefs about GOD, they didn’t write about the connection between Him and their popularly-accepted theories which explain natural phenomena—creations of GOD.

It is quite clear that GOD and the supernatural are difficult to explain because they are invisible or spiritual, and many people do not have the spiritual abilities to perceive, understand or explain how GOD and the supernatural work or make things happen.

And although many scientists don’t believe or discuss about GOD in their works, GOD created nature, and thus has a role in the behavior of natural phenomena studied by science and scientists.

No matter how you feel, GOD is always present!

It is quite easy to believe in GOD when things look good and we have everything we desire: wealth, food, friends, family, good health, etc.

On the other hand when situations look ugly, challenging and disturbing, it is often difficult to view GOD in the right perspective because it seems He’s absent and has gone thousands of miles away from us.

No matter the pains, trials, temptations and suffering we experience, and how we feel, GOD is always present with us!

Real friendships are often tested when people are absent from each other by long distances, and there is silence.

There are times when it seems GOD is missing-in-action in our lives, especially on days when we feel that all our spiritual excitement and feelings have disappeared, vanished and completely gone.

We pray and nothing happens for very long stretches of time. We begin to wonder when all the dark days will come to an abrupt end!

The feeling of abandonment from GOD usually occurs when our faith being tested during difficult times

No matter how much we feel abandoned, GOD is always present! The circumstances that will help develop our faith occur during times when life falls apart and it seems GOD is absent and nowhere to be found.

Take a look at the biblical Job; he lost everything he had in a single day: his business, his family, his good health and everything that belong to him.

And quite shockingly, over most of the chapters in Job, GOD didn’t say anything about it; GOD seemed to have gone and disappeared when Job’s chips were down!

GOD is still real and always present even when we don’t understand what’s going on in our lives

We must summon energy and courage to focus on GOD and be positive, no matter what is happening in our lives! Regardless of any circumstances, remind yourself that GOD’s goodness and love hasn’t changed, and will never change!

Despite your condition, GOD cares, and has a good and great plan for your life. Always remember that GOD is loving, he is in control and notices everything that is happening in your life.

Looking at life from a higher point of view

The way each person sees life will shape their life. How you and I define life will determine our respective destinies and how we invest time, spend money, use our unlimited abilities and potential, and value our relationships.

If you ask people the question, “how do you view life?”, you will be amazed that there are almost as many different answers as the number of people living on Earth. Different people would give various answers such as:

  • Life is a game of cards: you have to play with the cards you are given
  • Life is a puzzle
  • Life is a jungle
  • Life is a minefield
  • Life is a roller coaster
  • Life is a circus; it’s fun
  • Life is a fan belt: you go round and round and round
  • Etc.

No matter how we view life, if we are asked how we picture it, a particular image will instantly come to mind! That image is your point of view about life. That image is the belief and impression you consciously or unconsciously hold about life.

That image consists of your faith, description about how life works and what you think it to be; it tells much about what you expect from life. People often express their points of view about life through the clothes they buy, their choice of people, environments, relationships, etc.

Our unspoken points of view influences our lives far much more than we imagine

The point of view we have, or the image we hold goes a long way in determining our values, aims, goals, priorities and expectations.

For example, if you think life is all about partying, then your primary aim or goal in life would likely be to have fun. If you see life as a race, then you might hate delays and inactiveness, and value speed and timeliness; also, you will be attracted to people who value similar things or characteristics.

If you view life as a struggle, then you might likely value endurance; if you view life as a game or battle, you might likely value winning much more than anything else.

Some important things we have to remember when looking at life from a higher point of view

Life on Earth is a school that gives a lot of tests and assignments

The world is a testing ground where each person’s character, faith, love, integrity and loyalty are always being tested every day.

Throughout history, the greatest and least powerful men and women from various backgrounds and races have been tried and tested; some were strong enough to succeed, while others were not so strong enough and failed.

Evil tests everyone, and sometimes good does too. In the Christian Bible, we see the how GOD tested Abraham by asking him to offer his only son whom he conceived in his old age.

GOD allowed Satan to test Job with so many challenges that only a few people would conquer. Adam and Eve failed their test in the Garden of Eden. King David—whom GOD said was a man after His own heart—failed several tests; and so did King Solomon too!

On the other hand, the Christian Bible provides examples of people who passed great tests and trials, such as Jesus, Joseph, Esther, Daniel, etc.

The truth is that tests reveal and develop people’s character, and helps them undergo true spiritual maturity if it is used in the right way.

We don’t know all the tests that we will encounter, but we can predict some of them

Amongst many other things—too many to mention—we will certainly be tested by changes in the world’s economy, delayed promises from trusted ones, unanswered prayers, sudden natural disasters, unfair criticism, and even our own weaknesses.

Sometimes GOD intentionally withdraws from us to a point the we don’t even sense that He is still with us

If one studies the Christian Bible closely, they would come to understand that although King Hezekiah enjoyed a close relationship with GOD, GOD still abandoned him in order to test his character and see his own point of view about life. GOD did the same thing with quite a number of other people too.

If you understand that life is a test, you will value every experience and not take things too seriously

There is no experience that is insignificant, especially in the spiritual sense. Even the smallest details can develop your character and personality, and make you ready for the world of eternity which is our final destination.

Every second, minute, hour, day, year and century is crucial and important to our eternal destiny. Every day presents an opportunity for us to strengthen our character, show true love, and depend more on GOD.

In this world or primary school of the universe, some tests are very challenging while others are less challenging and barely noticeable. But all of them have purposes and are eternally significant.

The best news from heaven is that GOD wants all of us to pass the tests of life

Each time we pass a test, GOD plans to reward us in the realms of eternity. James said it best: “Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life which the Lord hath promised them that love Him”—James 1:12 (The Christian Bible).

We will be rewarded according to how we utilize the talents GOD has given us. In the story of the talents narrated by Jesus Christ in the Christian Bible, the businessman (GOD) entrusted his servants with different quantities of talents.

After returning from his journey, he assessed how they used the talents He gave them, and rewarded them accordingly. In a certain instance, the businessman (GOD) took away the talent He gave an unprofitable servant who didn’t use it at all.

Money is one of the greatest tests

Sometimes GOD tests us with money in order to make us depend more on Him, than on money. GOD observes how we use money and tests how trustworthy we are.

A scripture of the Christian Bible asks: “if you cannot be trusted with worldly riches and wealth, who will trust you with the riches of heaven”?

So there is a strong relationship between the way we use money, and the quality our respective spiritual lives. How we manage money, especially when it involves people, determines how much GOD can trust us with spiritual and eternal riches.

The end of life on Earth is not the end of life—GOD’s hall of fame is in eternity!

It is a big mistake to assume that if we do not achieve material success and prosperity until we die and leave this world, then we haven’t made and won’t make success in eternity.

It is even a bigger mistake to assume that GOD’s goal for our lives is only material success and prosperity. Eternal life has nothing to do with a short earthly life of material abundance.

Also, our faithfulness to GOD might not guarantee material wealth and prosperity on Earth as the world defines it through the possession of flashy cars, skyscrapers, countless airplanes, etc.

Focus on permanent everlasting crowns rather than temporary short-lived earthly crowns

St. Paul was faithful especially in the latter part of his life, but he went to prison; John the Baptist lived up to spiritual expectations but was beheaded. Thousands upon thousands of faithful people have been punished and executed, but still ended their lives with nothing materially valuable to show for it—however, the end of life on Earth is not the end of life!

In GOD’s eyes, the greatest heroes of faith are not the people who achieve material and financial success on Earth

In GOD’s eyes, the greatest heroes of faith are the people who faithfully served their primary assignment on Earth in accordance with His everlasting will. The Christian Bible says this about GOD’s hall of fame and eternity’s hall of famers in Hebrews 11: 13–16:

  • “All these great people died in faith. They did not get the things that GOD promised his people, but they saw them coming far in the future and were glad. They said they were like visitors and strangers on earth…they were waiting for a better country—a heavenly country. So GOD is not ashamed to be called their God, because he has prepared a city for them.”

Whatever you achieve on Earth is not the complete story of your life

The best and remaining chapters of your life will be experienced and lived in eternity! It is likely that we will not even stay up to two minutes after entering the halls of eternity before we ask: “why did we place so much importance on temporary and passing things while we were living on Earth”?

What were we thinking about? Why did we waste so much time, effort and energy on the things that weren’t meant to last? Why didn’t we see eternity in a much greater perspective?

When life gets so tough and full of challenges, or so easy and full of success, always remember that you are not yet at home

GOD forbid, but whenever we die, we won’t be leaving home; we’ll be going home!

Your life is not a fluke of the universe—even if your parents didn’t plan to have you, GOD did

As disjointed as life may appear to be, we are not flukes of the universe—you are not a fluke of the universe! Contrary to popular speculations from certain people, especially scientists, our existence didn’t occur by accident.

Your birth was not a mishap or fluke of nature; you didn’t come into existence as a consequence of any big bang! Even if your parents didn’t plan to have you, GOD did!

No matter how much people were surprised at how you came into being, and how you were born, GOD wasn’t surprised because He expected your physical existence long before you were conceived in the womb.

“Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee”— Jeremiah 1:5a

So the truth is that long before anyone as conceived by their mother, they were first conceived in the mind of GOD; in fact, they already had a spiritual life prior to physical birth.

First, GOD thought about us, and then created the spiritual part of us before we were physically conceived. Our existence is not by coincidence; it’s not as a result of fate, chance, or luck. We are alive and breathing because GOD created us—that’s just the way it is!

GOD purposely assigned us to a particular race; He gave us a particular skin colors, features and settings for a reason

Just as creators of vehicles design them for particular purposes, so did GOD give us bodies and features the way he wanted them—for specific purposes.

Also, GOD decided the type of talents and unique personality traits that we should possess; He alone knows how we were made, bit by bit; He knows how we were sculpted from nothing to something magnificent and powerful—He knows us inside out!

No matter the amount of influence we think we have on our lives, GOD decided when we will be born and how long we will live. He planned the days of our lives far in advance, and long before our respective births and deaths.

Your nationality and race—which you either like or don’t like—is not a fluke; it’s not an accident or coincidence. It was all planned with precision, and for a meaningful purpose.

GOD ushered humanity into this world, and set different places and times for various races to live in. Nothing is life is arbitrary as you may think, or as it might seem; everything has a purpose.

While the world might agree that there are illegitimate parents, there are no illegitimate babies or children

On one hand, it is quite unfortunate that many people didn’t plan to have children; on the other hand, it is fortunate that even though people didn’t plan to have children, GOD planned for every child to have a destiny and be ushered into this world.

GOD’s purpose is loving and very considerate because it takes into consideration human imperfection, error and sin. That is why it is quite common to see so-called “illegitimate children” achieve a great destiny that positively affects the lives of many so-called “legitimate children”.

The more scientists understand the secrets of the universe, the more they will agree that our respective births and the world uniquely suit our existence for GOD’s purpose

GOD went through all the trouble of creating a universe for everyone and every visible and invisible being because He is a GOD of complete and everlasting love. His type of love is too great to fathom!

Without GOD at the helm of affairs in the universe, there would be no laws and guidance; there would be no right or wrong; also, there would be no hope of existing beyond our few years of life on Earth.

Our life’s purpose is far greater than our personal desires, ambitions and fulfilment

“For through him were all things created in Heaven and on Earth, visible and invisible, whether they are thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created through him, and for him”—Colossians 1:16 (The Christian Bible).

GOD is the sole reason why everything above and below the Earth, visible and invisible exists. Everything came into being because of Him. Generally speaking, the purpose of life is not all about you, or us; our respective purposes for living lies far beyond us and our own personal comfort and fulfilment; most probably, that’s why we don’t always experience life the way we would like to.

Most of us don’t understand that life is not as perfect as we would like it to be because we are not living for ourselves; we are part of a universal scheme that GOD has made humanity and each human being to be a part of; a scheme whose plan outlasts our short earthly life.

The purpose of life has bewildered people since the earliest times on Earth

The purpose of life is something that has made mankind think over and over without many people ever coming to a precise conclusion; not too many people have been able to fathom it.

Even though we always think about what we want to be and what we would like to do with our respective lives, the purpose of life is far greater than ourselves, our families, our careers, ambitions and wildest dreams.

Apart from the Christian Bible, many scriptures and texts make us understand that the purpose of living is beyond our goals, ambitions, dream and future: the goal of living is spiritual and directed by almighty GOD.

It is quite unfortunate that in the modern era, in which materialism holds sway, many people try to use GOD for their own self-actualization.

The purpose of life is to let GOD use us for His own purposes

We were made for GOD’s purposes; not the other way round. We are not supposed to use GOD for our own purposes; if we do, then we are doomed to fail in the pursuit of our destinies.

There is nothing bad in chasing our set goals and dreams, and pursuing them until we actualize them: there is nothing bad with achieving great success; however, achieving success, and fulfilling one’s GOD-given purpose are two different things.

Achieving personal success if quite different from achieving the things GOD created us to achieve.

It is possible to hit certain targets and achieve personal success, but still miss the reason/purpose why we were sent down to this world from the higher part of creation where GOD’s will rules supremely without interference from the type of corruption that is so prevalent in our world today.

So how can we find the purpose of our respective lives?

Fortunately, instead of guessing what our respective purposes are, we can consult what GOD has revealed about life in His scriptures (in his words), and obey and practice it—many of the holy books or scriptures would help!

Knowing fully well that not everyone can communicate with GOD spiritually, and on the same level, the best platform for everyone to discover GOD’s purpose for their life is to consult His word—His book.

“But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and on His law does he meditate day and night; And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth fruit in his season; its leaf does not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper”—Psalms 1:1–2 (The Christian Bible).

If you can pick interest in GOD’s words, meditate on them regularly, obey and honestly practice them, then you will find GOD’s purpose for your life, and prosper.

So there you have it: no matter what we do in life, side by side with our desires and pursuits we have to find out what GOD’s words say about life in general, and practice them. If we do so with a sense of honesty and love, and live by it, then our true purpose will be revealed to us—we will be exposed to it.

The easiest way to find out the purpose a new invention is to consult the creator of the invention; or if the creator is difficult to access, then consult the creator’s manual or guide for the invention.

The same applies to GOD; consult and talk to Him through His word on a daily basis—read His everlasting inspiring words every day, and you will find your life’s purpose and prosper if you do so with your heart and soul.

GOD has not left us completely in the dark when it comes to finding out what our respective purposes are

GOD has clearly revealed His laws, commandments, and general purpose of life on Earth in His scriptures—His manual; it would be good for us to harmonize them with our own intentions, goals, dreams and ambitions.

GOD’s manual explains the beginning of life, how life works, what we should do in order to avoid repercussions, and what we should expect when we take certain actions, either good or bad.

GOD is not only the starting point of all forms of life—seen and unseen—He is also the source of our continuous existence which he has planned to last forever. In order to discover your life’s purpose, you have to turn to GOD’s word, or get it from someone who can give it to you in the truest form possible.

The world’s wisdom, which is heavily based on materialism, cannot reveal your life’s purpose to you; it is only GOD’s words the can reveal it to you. His word fits into a much larger universal purpose which he has designed to last for all eternity.

No matter who you are or what you do, if you give your best to the world, the greatest will come back to you, and you will be on the path to greatness.

It is no more a hidden fact that on the long run, the universe opens its arms and gives the best and highest profits to those who serve the best—those who give their best service.

Just take a look around you and observe: you will easily notice that good businesses are either at the top of the ladder of success, or on the road to it.

(On the other hand, it has to be noted that, on the long run, the universe will suck life out of evil businesses, even though they might appear to be successful at any moment in time.)

One great quality successful businesses have is that they are not careless about the way they offer their services: they always strive to provide service that is arguably greater in value than what they are paid for, and what the greater number of people offer.

If a comparison is made between the services that successful businesses offer, and the money they make from their services, one could come to the conclusion that their services are more valuble than the money they make from them.

The input of additional or extra effort or knowledge than usual makes certain people or businesses unique and stand out from the great crowd of businesses that exist.

So it pays to give a little more value than what is usually given by most people. Any extra quality or quantity of effort you add to any service can make a difference for you, and attract a lot of trust, customers and money, and make your business recognized as an outstanding one.

On the long run, the law of attraction works hand in hand with the quality of services and thoughts offered

The universe will unfold its gifts to us in proportion to the quality of services we offer.

If we give our best, we will receive much more than we offer—remember: “Cast thy bread upon the waters and it will return to you a hundred-fold”.

The same applies to our thoughts too: most of us are in a certain condition or situation because of the quality of our thoughts.

We desire positive things but allow our minds to be occupied by negative thoughts: we hope for something better, but our hopes are surrounded and drowned by fears that we might never have any chance to make it.

The only way we can change the effects of what we receive from the universe is by first changing the causes of the effects—and we are the ones who have to start this.

It will be difficult to receive good things from GOD’s everlasting generosity if we are expecting evil: it will be difficult to attract abundance when our thoughts are concentrating on poverty and lack.

Remember that the universe releases or keeps its abundance in proportion to an individual’s quality of thinking.

GOD’s generosity is always looking for an outlet to which it will constantly supply its abundance; it is like a boundless reservoir of water, to which, if anyone attaches a channel, will allow water flow from it in ever-increasing volume.

If you are wise enough to attach a channel to the generosity of the universe, its gifts will flow in ever-increasing volume and continue to enrich you in the process.

By opening a channel from the abundance of GOD, and using your talent to help people and solve their problems, you will attract a lot of profit and greatness to yourself.

If you wish to receive greatness, you have to use your talent to offer servicesespecially quality services

You have to use your talent if you wish to make profit from it and attract abundance; in addition, you have to give quality service if you want to become truly great in a good way.

It doesn’t matter whether the services you offer are small; what matters is the quality. Use it and it will grow and make you great—use your GOD-given talents to make a better and greater impact on the world.

A brief look at the biblical parable of the talents

Jesus told the parable of three men who were given different quantities of talents.

Two of the men who made profitable use of their talents were rewarded, and given authority over many things; but the man who had the least talent and hid it, and was rewarded with nothing.

Worst still, his talent was taken away from him, and given to the man who had the greatest talent and used it profitably.

If you are good at selling commodities, you have to use your talent to deliver quality goods and services that can make people satisfied and happy.

If you are the owner of website, you must give visitors quality content and services as much as you possibly can: make them feel fulfilled and happy by giving more than the usual amount that can be found on other websites.

And if you want more from GOD’s generosity, you must start using what you have to help people around you. This is one of the major things that can make you become truly great.

Conclusion

If you wish to become great, you must serve. There is a very good reason why Jesus Christ said: “Whoever would be great among you must be your servant”—whosoever wishes to become the greatest among you, shall be servant of all.

In other words, if you wish to become great, you must serve: if you want to make money, instead of trying to get it in raw form by any means possible, look for ways to be of service to other people.

In the process of serving other people, you will inevitably attract money and the best gifts of life to yourself. We receive according to how and what we give—however, we must first give.

It doesn’t matter where you start in life; even if you are a laborer, you can still give quality service  to your boss and make him or her happy.

Try your best to give more quality than what you are paid for, and you could just be on the beginning of your journey to success and greatness.

Make an effort every day to improve yourself by adding extra skills to the one you possess and use for work: find a way to do something better or more efficiently, and it won’t take long time before you will find a way out of the common labor class.

No matter the type of job you do, always find a more joyful, easier and better way to do it, and probably with lesser effort or fewer people, and you will be on your way to the top of the ladder.

Always think about how you can give greater value than what you get. Always think about how you can serve better; how you can make more money for your employers, or save more for your customers.

If you can keep this thought in mind and practice giving quality service and maintaining positivity, then you will become great!

Matter, atoms & quantum energy: why are they completely under the control of those who are spiritually minded?

Throughout history there has been a lot of fascination about how spiritually minded people easily control matter/material things without having to go through all the rigors that science and materially minded people usually go through.

This has been the mindset of most people who are ignorant about the powerful abilities of the human spirit.

Nevertheless, matter and spirit are much more connected than has been assumed. In fact, there is ample evidence that human thoughts can influence the morphology of the human body, and other material things too.

Those who are in control of their spirit have always known this, and have been using their knowledge to control material things and affairs much more easily in the world of matter.

The spiritually minded often achieve a lot of things without using the enormous amount of physical materials, effort and time that science usually employs to achieve the same things.

Listed below are just a few things that spiritually minded people do without wasting any material resources—human, or otherwise:

  • healing people from far distances; or healing nearby by laying hands.
  • control of blood pressure and body temperature—to the astonishment of medical doctors.
  • levitation, and control of natural forces.
  • etc.—too many to mention.

The one thing that can be noticed in all these activities is that each of them consists of matter, invisible atoms, and some degree or quantity of what science calls “quantum energy”.

A brief look at invisible atoms, matter & quantum energy

Science tells us that atoms consist of positive and negative subatomic particles of force or energy called protons and electrons, respectively.

Protons and electrons (which are restless, never static, dynamic) pulsate with life, and contain whirling bits of energy that many people could consider to be a bit more spiritual than material!

Each matter/material thing consists of atoms which in turn consist of a number of protons and electrons; throughout the ages, it seems real spiritually minded people always knew about this, and probably saw protons and electrons.

The quantum energy in atoms or matter is in discrete (separate: distinct) packs of energy also known as minimum energy, which is the value of “physical property” involved in any “interaction”.

Note the term and word, “physical property” and “interaction”, respectively; quantum energy is involved in interactions.

One of the stand-out features of quantum energy is “entanglement”, which is a description of particles that are mysteriously linked with other particles regardless of their distances apart.

Some research groups have succeeded in entangling not just a few particles, but also different clouds of thousands of atoms.

Entangled particles share properties in such a way that makes them depend on each other even when they are separated by very long distances.

Albert Einstein famously called entanglement “spooky [mysterious: supernatural] action at a distance”. Why? Because when one particle is altered, it affects other particles instantaneously.

Generally, if we look at science’s point of view, all matter (water, mountains, environment, etc.), regardless of size, consists of essentially the same material; the only difference is in the number of protons or electrons each matter consists of.

Science regards atoms as the ultimate thing behind all forms of matter, irrespective of how big or small they are.

Human bodies and everything in the material world are believed to consist of atoms: infinitesimal and indestructible particles of matter that are too small to be seen or touched.

Atoms have two charged particles; both of them are electrical in nature: one is negative electricity (the tiny particle called “electron” which fans of radio are familiar with), while the other one is positive electricity (the tiny particle called “proton”).

Also, chemical compounds are built from protons and electrons. Lead, iron, oxygen, silver, gold and other elements only differ from one another in terms of the number and arrangement of electrons and protons each of them comprises of.

The thing to note is this: soil, oceans, mountains, rocks and everything can be broken down into particles that are indivisible and invisible—a bit short of what we may call “purely spiritual”.

Conclusion

With all the great discoveries and inventions, modern science might finally come to understand that what we call matter consists of energetic particles that can be partially or completely controlled by spiritually minded people who tend to have varying degrees of influence on spirit.

Contrary to what most people think—especially those who are way off the spiritual path—most forms of matter cannot be controlled or influenced by the use of the five physical human senses, scientific experiments and laboratory apparatus.

In the future, science will likely discover that invisible quantum energy is more subject to spiritual power and spiritual laws, which by their nature, find it easy to manipulate atoms and matter, and make anything possible regardless of how great it could look.

We might not be far away from the truth if we safely assume that those who live in the spirit automatically reside in the domain where invisible atoms and quantum energy can be easily influenced and controlled.

The signs are in every invention and great deed! With enlightenment permeating everywhere, mankind seems to be getting closer and closer to having complete understanding and conviction about what Jesus said about 2,000 years ago:

  • “if you have faith (what may be called “control”) as little as a grain of mustard seed,you will say to this mountain, ‘move from here to there’, and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”

The most powerful forces in the material world are the invisible ones such as heat, light, air, electricity; so also, the most powerful force that lords it over the material and invisible spiritual world is the spirit which directs both mind and thoughts.

And just as the forces in the material world can fuse many physical objects, so also can the spirit fuse matter and invisible quantum energy—and even destinies.

Reality is what you choose it to be. Reality is what you make it!
